The sights of Brussels reflect the rich history, beauty and simplicity of the Belgian capital. Here tourists can get an idea of the real life of the Belgians; there are many interesting museums, art galleries, and architectural monuments. We will be able to look at buildings made in Gothic and Baroque styles, enjoy the beauty of the local landscapes and buy real Belgian chocolate.

11:23 I don't know why taking a taxi is recommended but that is really not an option for sightseeing : taxis are expensive and will have problems navigating trough the city and its traffic jams as any other vehicle. The metro takes you straight and fast to the Atomium and Mini Europe if you want to visit those. The large exposition halls of Brussels are also nearby.

2 days! It only takes an hour to see all that's worth seeing in Brussels! Less if you don't bother with the Mannekin Pis, which you shouldn't. See the Grand Place, may be a quick coffee, then head out to Bruges or somewhere else more interesting. That's what you should do when visiting Brussels.
@kimberiysmarketstrategy3 ай бұрын
Good to know actually. Going to Bruges next week. Whats there?
@corradox112 ай бұрын
Oh, come on, that’s really exaggerated. There’s so much more to see than just the Grand Place. It’s full of cool museums, including an underground one, and there are lots of nice neighborhoods to explore… great restaurants, beautiful Art Deco houses, lovely parks, and even a huge forest. Next time, take the metro like I did, and you’ll see a lot more. I’m from Canada, and I loved it. To me Brussels and Belgium are very underrated, while to me Amsterdam for example Is overrated…. But that is my opinion.
@stefaanvandekelder681828 күн бұрын
Art loving tourists will need more than 2 days. And don’t forget the museum of African art in a palace in huge park, you dive in The Congo! You can easily reach it from the city center by streetcar, crossing the green lung of Brussels
@olivierdemaeght786621 күн бұрын
Nonsens, leave the city center and explore the Brussels capital region. You can easily spend a few weeks in Brussels. Tips: Bois de la Cambre and Franklin Roosevelt Av, the lakes of Ixelles with breathtaking townhouses, the Royal residence and Parks of Laeken, An Art nouveau walking tour including visit to Victor Horta's house, the Basilica of Koekelberg, Josaphat Park and Av Louis Bertrand in Schaarbeek, the Wiertz museum, the underground of Place Royale, many very interesting museums and fantastic Parks. Brussels is one of the greenest cities in the world. Enjoy!
