4K cab view - Sydney Metro North West Line Full Trip (Tallawong to Chatswood)

The Metro North West Line is the first and currently the only service in the Sydney Metro network. The service commenced operation on 26 May 2019, running between Tallawong and Chatswood along the Sydney Metro Northwest rail link, which included the Epping to Chatswood rail link.

The heck, I used get the train from Hurstville to Central when I visited Sydney and its trash tier in looks compared to this (last there like a year ago). Old, sooty, tangara (?), old line none of those barriers and it was packed like all the time, crazy seeing so few people. This seems to be more for future development since those areas seem pretty undeveloped. These things don't have drivers? Also, seems fricken loud. Isnt the head of City Rail the former head of the London Underground or w/e? So is this his attempt at trying to put the London Underground in Sydney? Because this reminds me so much of the London Underground.

This video is Syndney Metro, and the train you talked about is just called Sydney Train. They are different system. But I admit that Sydney Train is super old and slow, also dirty shitty...

Lovely trains. These trains were made in Alstom in India. These are an exact replica of the Delhi Metro trains that fall under the Magenta Line and Pink Line in New Delhi, except unlike in Sydney the trains here in Delhi have a divider seperating the driver from the passengers. Also unlike the Sydney Metro, Delhi Metro has train drivers operating them. Our trains are yet to be made driverless. You could have given the names of each Metro station we crossed. Would have preferred to know their names .

Today's ventures in new rapid transit d e p e n d on land speculation. A l l those tracts gone to seed if you will along the l o n g beginning of this ride. Plus stations are so far apart to seem citylike there; metros are geared toward compact cities.

trainrover Yeah, all of that land next to the 2 elevated stations at least should be developed for mixed use TOD, in a similar fashion to a number of stations on the Vancouver SkyTrain Canada Line

No driver on the train, the control centre is at Rouse Hill, just a bit past the start of this journey. That is why you can stand at the front.
