4k Chasing CP 2816 The Empress Final Spike Tour From Franklin Park,IL to Davenport, IA

My days off lined up so I could see this legendary steam engine take to mainline. lucky for me it was a piece of railroad I was familiar with as I chased the holiday train on this same section of railroad. The first video is when it pulled out of Franklin Park after being on display all afternoon and it also includes the new metra macs which I haven't seen on until now so that was cool. The only downside is the rain really made it hard to do alot of the shots I wanted to do. I made due with what I could and I was happy with the turnout. I definitely did get a lot of good Photos I wanted but it was really cool to see this thing in person!
