Not really skyscapers but there are 2 areas being build with around 13 +100 meter high rises at this moment in Helsinki. Like usual for Europe the high rise areas are in the edge of the core city. You can see the start of one of those high rise areas at 19:48 in the distance where they are building 6 towers with one finished and two rising up at the moment.

I love you city walk videos. I usually use them each day while walking on a treadmill. You had asked for comments and suggestions. I like it when you talk about what we are seeing. One suggestion that I have is that in places that have historical sections is that you would spend more time there rather than in business and residential areas. I do have a request ...if you are planning any trips to California...I would live to see a walk in Cambria
@CityWalks5 жыл бұрын
Love the feedback. Thanks so much. Where is Cambria? Near LA or further north? I go down to the LA area for family some times. Thanks -Henry

It looks like a village. No style , very plain architecture. The only beautiful and stylish buildings are those which have similar to european part of Russia architecture, like in Moscow and Sankt Petersburg. Thanks to being a part of Russian Empire. They have to take a very good care of Russian churches! This is only arquitectural and historical treasure in Finland. Absolutely no go country for tourism.
@CityWalks2 жыл бұрын

@daffi4139 Жыл бұрын
Haha, You seem to be from Russia and very mad at Finland ;). Maybe because Finland is on a truth side and is against Russian aggressive invasion of Ukraine and joining Nato. Maybe I'm wrong, but about your madness towards Finland I'm 100% sure! I can easily tell because a normal, an adequate person doesn't comment something disrespectful and that stupid. Russian empire's influence on Finland and rest Europe and World is not big as your country is explaining. Speaking about "Russian churches" your explanation is very odd, yes there are Russian orthodox churches in Helsinki as in other cities around the world. There are also lot's of churches with different religions from around the world in Helsinki. It's a very normal to have a multicultural environment in a free democratic western country. But still there are more Greek orthodox churches in Helsinki as Finland's orthodox minority is part of Greek orthodoxy. For example the main and biggest orthodox church in Finland (the red one) is belonging to a Greek orthodoxy. Greek orthodox is NOT Russian. In Helsinki there is much much more Nordic architecture and even small part that you may call "russian" is designed by Germans. I've been in Helsinki and the most stylish buildings are in a city centre which are mainly designed by a pretty famous German architect that had built in other countries as well. And all that is big thanks that Finland was a country with extremely high autonomy within Russian empire, with own army, language, government and etc... So Finland stayed always as a western country even during neutral status. For your country I wish to be free from your aggressive dictator as soon as possible and also please respect other cultures and countries! This is really odd and stupid to see people or bots like you commenting under different city walk videos.
