I know that most of you are gun guys, but speakers are cool too. :)

New here. Totally love the setup man. 👍🏾😊 You made some valid points that I don’t think most people are aware of. One important one is having the center speaker oriented in that way is the best choice and the first I’ve seen where the fronts are not behind a perforated screen. Don’t think that most folks know that this is how the speakers are setup behind the screens at commercial movie theaters. Wanted to do the same, but unfortunately I do not have the space. SPL must be insane in that room.

Love your setup! I'm really debating if building a sub is better than and or equal to a prebuilt one from klipsch(top end subs) or SVS(top end subs). You know, the ones that say they've got this and that and certifications. Sealed is the best way to go for movies and music? As for speakers, I've got the klipsch rp8000, glad to know I can stick another one of those for a center. I too listen to music and movies at ridiculously loud levels. I want to feel like I'm in it. Any thoughts?

darkie00 I have many thoughts. There are very few factory subs that will preform at this level for this cost. The PB16 ultra is a great sub. But my 4 18’s do just as well at less than half the cost. DIY is the best bang for your buck. Get some Dayton Ultimax 18’s and an iNuke and you’ll be very happy for less money.

I think Onkyo is the best. They hv ben in business for 70 years. Had two denon receivers. Nothing but problems. Merants bought denon. Onkyo bought Pioneer. I love my Thx certified 7.1 Onkyo system. Want to up grade to Onkyo's 11.2 Receiver to do a 7.2.6 set up. Have a 80" visio 1080p tv and want to up grade to Sammsungs 85" 4k tv soon. Nice set up. Fun fun. 🙂❤

Damn, i wish i had the subs ;P Everything you said is on point. Btw that 6000dsp actually produces 2k watts per channel at 4 ohm, and the dynamic power is 2.5k per channel, which is super nice, but it lies on the spec. Would love to see a full blast demo of a movie with tons of LFE, even if it's without sound. But be careful with the destruction of the house :D

Quetzalcoalt haha yes. I knew about the amp actual output. And yes, I blew the living room window out earlier this week. I have some videos of some stuff. Just don’t know where to send it lol

Damn is that true ? You don’t need the smaller center speaker you can just use those bigger speakers? The smaller klipsch speaker is more expensive too .
