Hope that Abby feels better soon! For a rough and ready conversion, a meter is about a yard. As I played football (Canadian Football) for 7 years in my teens, I have a very good feeling for what a yard is, so it makes it easy for to convert distance from Metric meters to Imperal Yards.

I have the older mini and I do get some range issues depending where I am, but usually 450m in my neighborhood. Now I did get it to go 1200m out over the water yesterday. This drone is more matched to the DJI air 2s in size and weight. If you want the sub 250 gram class you should try the mini 2 with ocusync to eliminate the range issues. I am contemplating getting the new mini 3 pro

I have Mini 2, and going for the Air 2S, mini 2 was improved with better motors, camera, and remote so it does all I need in the low profile dpt. I wanted the new one also but 2 is pretty awesome and this way I get a big one with 1 inch sensor and a little one with 4k. I would prob get the Mini 3 if I didn't already have the Mini 2

Nice to see you back in the 'drone world' again and making a great review video as always :) I'm not a great R/C car or plane lover so you don't hear from me on those reviews but I do like to keep tabs on you for the drones. I was going to get the SJRC F11 Pro 4K but it proved a little too expensive for me here in the UK. In the end I plumbed for the MJX Bugs 16/ Flyhal FX1 which has a 4K camera with a 3axis gimbal and EIS. Hoping all is great with you both, Amelia and Popeye :)

they were all called f11. The first one was non stabalized 720p, the 2nd non stabalized 1080p and the 3rd 2 axis(eis)4k(1km range, in my dreams). All were rugged well built and reliable. I however bought the (original version) SJRC models at aliexpress for less money. The 3km, 3 battery with case is $411 Canadian.

Thats only a 2 axis gimbal? Its buttery smooth. Maybe theres software stabilization too cause this looks much better than others wth 2 axis. Im glad you showed me this cause Im looking for something more portable than my Typhoon H which needs its own trailer to take anywhere. I know the DJI mini is a quality drone but it really looks cheap and Im afraid that any crash would be its last. Thanks again

EIS is no joke...I remember years ago when I tried to set a camera to do digital noise resolution it was almost impossible...now it is effortless because it is already done for you :) I don't have this drone, I have the 720EH that is similar, but $280 with 3 batteries...video is amazing.

Hello from New Hampshire, 90 degrees today and would've been an awesome day to fly. I've never flown a drone simply because I've never flown a helicopter. Looks like fun. We have a lot of open areas in the city of Nashua to explore from the air. I think there might be special laws in place here regarding drones, have to check that out. Love you guys but I can promise you as a Mini SE owner...it is not better in any sense than the DJI Mini SE. Just my own experience. Reliable as steel Plenty of aftermarket add ons and can use the Mini 2 batteries or cheap Mavic Mini Original batteries. Modifiable software wise for 20 bucks Litchi makes the Mini SE almost magical. Just saying.

Overal this looks like a good quadcopter; pity it did get the horizon tilted here and there. As for a cheaper alternative to the 250 gram Dji Mini 2: the Hubsan Zino Mini SE is a very nice option (one I'm still contemplating) Get well soon Abby!

Hay I was curious for some time now... Have you used the fallow me mode with an RC Truck. Put the box over it, and lock it to the drone. will the drone be able to fallow it around in an open area. Best off with no trees.lol. have you tried this manuver.

This Ruko F11 4K GIM 2 drone, is a rebranded SJRC F11S 4K Pro drone. Ruko buys this drone from SJRC, Rebrands it & jacks up the price, considerably more. If you buy the, SJRC F11S 4k Pro from Bangood, it's only $215, instead of paying $450, for the same exact drone, with the only exception, it's rebranded as a Ruko.

I'm an owner of an original mavic pro. I have to say it's very disappointing to see what dji has done in the years since. I paid $1000 for a fly more pack when it first came out and that was with 3 batteries. Years later a friend I work with had to pay $600 for an inferior product in the mini 2 with the same accompaniment. By years later I mean a week ago. Makes me sad. Although I've not bought the newer models myself, everything I heard is the later generations of the mavic are nowhere near as good. Yet they're at least double the price.

The original Mavic Pro released at $1600 with an extra $400 for the fly more combo. That drone is still being sold today at $1200 for the base drone. New DJI drones are not inferior. The Mini SE is a discount version of the first Mini. It is only new in so much as DJI is trying to get rid of old stock. The Mini 3 has a better camera, better controller, better software better flight time, and is cheaper than the old Mavic Pro I don't know if you got yours used or on sale or was just mispriced, but that price is not available to other people unless they get it used too

So a wonderful video of this drone and I’m just about sold on it. A couple things; there was static in the video the entire time the drone was in the air. Was that from the drone and would be expected or was that due to some other interference? Hi Nate, clicked on the Amazon link and it came up with the”HOLY STONE HS700E 4K UHD Drone” at £289 uk pounds! That’s nothing like the F11 in your video! Is this because I get Amazon UK ? The drones video quality looks really great which is what I want, but the drone also needs to be sub 250grams/.55 lbs to fly here in the UK without all the complicated rules and restrictions of the heavier drones. Really impressive gimbal work for a 2-axis. I would say the video quality still has room for improvement. Lots of graininess and softness on the trees when moving. I LOVE the controller. I wish more companies did this and wish DJI didn't move away from this. Autel has it but they are just too far out of the price point for normal consumers. I wish this was a little smaller or the video quality was a little sharper - I don't need 4k, I just want sharp video. Anyone know if the static audio was from Nate's source or was it from the drone footage recording?
