I greatly appreciate that you leave your videos raw and not do all that fancy trickery in editing. I loved even on the range test that you did, it was in real time and we get a real sense of the experience and the distance. A lot of people take down the screen record video and put up the SD card recording and they're hiding a lot of the choppiness or signal loss and distance and things like that and it's very aggravating. I also appreciate that you talk when it's necessary. And when you do it's to do a good job of explaining and discussing. This was just a very very easy video to watch and enjoy, and most of all to learn from. Don't change. Thanks again

Yesterday I took my mini 2 3500 meters away on a full battery when I let it auto return to home point. I started to get high wind warnings on return which might have drained more power from battery and it tried to do a forced landing at 4% half way between 2 river banks. I quickly over rid the landing and flew into a park a couple of meters in from the bank while reducing altitude and lost connect about 10 meters off the grass which is to be expected. It was right were I lost contact with it 950 meters from home siting on the grass. So just a cautionary story for people who want to test the limits, I'm lucky that it's not taking pictures of fish right now.

One of the things I like the most about your videos specifically is how easily it is to read your landscape. Its really easy to visually benchmark and compare your different range tests because of the terrain. Like "oh he almost made it all the way out to the coast on that last one and this one he made it a little less far" Its not just numbers.

I got a mini SE for my birthday the fly more kit which was very impressive to me. It blows my mind it's at the bottom of the totem pole and I am so impressed by it. If I was a spark or mini user looking to upgrade with tight budget, this drone is the best choice, as it can manage a 30 minute flight with outstanding range, yes, 10 kilometers, but of course who flies that far, it only shows you can have perfect control of this little drone even great range. Just be careful though, it has no obstacle avoidance🤗

For those in the European countries our drones are different especially with the DjI ocusync 2 here in America we actually get the 4 to 6 miles distance. The proof is have you ever seen an American KZbin channel about mini 2 or about ocusync having horrible reception losing signal or flyaways. There's a reason. Our remote transmission and drone transmission is a little bit more powerful

Another great video. I have been using LiPos in RC aircraft for years. The minimum safe voltage for a Lipo is 3.0V per cell. That is the absolute minimum. 3.3v is best. 3.5v is conservative. Lipo are lighter but not as durable is Li Ion. That is why they mainly use Li Ion in power tools instead of LiPo. Also as you saw LiPo's are lighter because of the way they are constructed.

WOW..just tested mine for the first time in the Mountains and only hit about 400-500 yards then lost signal, luckily it returned to home automatically. Have to try it again..Great video!

@@xxxxxDUSTYxxxxx How is your Phantom 3 doing? Still flying? Mine went through a couple shell cracks (stress cracks) under the motors. DJI replaced the shell twice. I added the aluminum motor mount bases to reinforce and no problems since. Still a great drone IMO but sometimes weary of the single compass. It's failed on me a couple of times.
