Outstanding videography. Your views from on high clearly demonstrate just how demanding this stretch of railroad truly is. Someone should give you an award.

Awesome video and great catches. You really found a great spot to catch them working their way through the Tehachapii Loop. - Steve

Is there a reason why they had to build the track that way? Seems like an excessive amount of loops
@CaliRail3 жыл бұрын
@@chrispilny3075 probably due to steep grades and rugged terrain

Your videos are a joy to watch. Clear picture, nice steady camera and good wind noise management! That takes some doing hiking to some of those locations. Rugged country there.

wow I love these mountain train videos. I love this up close shot at 2:18 with the california poppies. As a suggestion I wish you would zoom and pan and follow the trains with the camcorder with a few trains here and there to make it more interesting and zoom out with the trains as they get closer.

HOLY WOW!!! Starting at 10 minutes that Train is incredibly LONG 😱 they have to go slow because The train cars will want to go straight instead of Following the track! That is a Train, that is a Real TRAIN!

Appreciate your time at the tracks but I would rather see more closeups than miles away
