As a human civilisation, it is with great prestige to fly the Airbus A35X to one of the world's greatest city.

The outside flap movement noise and tire noise while landing was very loud inside the aircraft. The Boeing aircraft were never this loud.

Except from flaps, this is the quietest aircraft I've ever been on. 777 is way louder without doubt, 787's flaps are not that loud, but 787 does make other weird noises, so I wouldn't say 787 is quieter than 350.

@@MqLei You have misunderstood everything I have said. I said the A350 flap movement and tire noise while landing was loud inside the aircraft. The Boeing aircraft flap movement and tire noise while landing were not this loud. The Boeing 777 is a much older aircraft than the A350-1000. So the Airbus A350 is going to be much quieter than the Boeing 777 in flight obviously. Japan Airlines was mostly a Boeing designated airline but they changed to having Airbus aircraft a few years ago.

You cannot hear the tyre noise within an aircraft - what you are hearing is the the vibration of the airframe and the interior fittings after the impact of the mains on the runway surface. Paradoxically, because the A350 interior is so quiet the noise of landing seems louder than most other aircraft. The A350 (and A380) uses higher pressure hydraulic systems to reduce the size (and therefore weight) of the necessary pipework, hence the motors work harder and are louder. Plus, the poster's microphone is located above the flap track hydraulic motors, hence this is the noisiest location in the aircraft cabin for flap motor noise.

The aircraft flies over the mainland United States and goes into the Atlantic Ocean and turns around before landing at JFK. This aircraft is approaching from the Atlantic Ocean

The direction of landing is dictated by the wind direction at the time. Aircraft always try to land into wind.
