4K Foroglio, Val Bavona Ticino SWITZERLAND アルプス山脈 aerialview

The Ticino is rich in waterfalls. The most spectacular one is near Foroglio in the Bavona Valley (Upper Maggia Valley). The water rushes down from a height of 110 meters and offers a spectacular sight with its foaming and splashing. The village is also very picturesque, with its houses that surround the church and recall the life of the past generations who grazed the cattle here and were only staying in the Bavona Valley from spring to autumn. To fully enjoy this natural wonder, we suggest a trip to the stone paradise around the waterfall.
Next to the waterfall is a pretty village, its houses are groupe around the 15th century church, where one can admire a triptych of the Germanic school (1553) and a painting from the end of the 18th century, originating from Rome "The Virgin in the Temple." The typical stone houses used as granaries with stone supports in mushroom shape, on which the upper part is made of wood. They are ancient buildings, which are reminiscent of the rye cultivation since they were built to dry and store the grain.
In Foroglio there is also the Osteria La Froda, with a magnificent view of the waterfall. Here you can really breathe another life, look at the waterfall and eat a minestrone, a roast and polenta with cheese.

Andarfantastico lee no that mansion would destroy the charm of that rustic village . I would rather live in one of those little stone homes in that village . That village is all off the grid with zero modern day toxic pollutions . The villagers there live clean and simply which is why tourists still love to go there. They go there to escape the mansions and the pollution of the modern cities . Building a modern day mansion in the quaint village of Froglio would completely destroy its rustic charm and stunning simplicity which why people go there in the first place . I would never visit Froglio if a modern day mansion was built near that stunning water fall. The water fall should always be the star attraction not a modern mansion near it to destroy all its rugged beauty . I love its charming non developed simplicity .

I was there, walked the steep path and came to a plain above the waterfall. Near the river which then becomes a waterfall, there are some stone houses where some of my friends have a holiday home. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place.

Yes, beautiful in the summer, this village is very harsh in the winter and most viewing this video would not be able to cope with the hardships… I live in Ascona, Ticino @ Lago Maggiore year round and visit these types of villages in the summer… All of Switzerland is beautiful and when you know it is located on an immovable plane and not a planet in a soul lure system it becomes even more beautiful… Peace and Love on the Plane Earth Brothers And Sisters…
