You don't realize how big Lake Michigan is until you fly across it, especially on decent into O'Hare...couldn't tell you how many times I flew from DTW - ORD ....Electra, 707, 727, 737, 767, DC-10...and enjoyed that approach over the Lake every single time..

I flew from Milwaukee to Grand Rapids. While we were descending over the Michigan coastline you could still see the lights of Milwaukee behind us.

War ein sehr schöner ruhiger Flug. Danke fürs Mitnehmen. Was a very nice smoothing flight. Thank you for taking me.

WOWOWOW!! Good views. Looks like this was not a year where Lake Michigan almost froze all the way across. Back in winter 1993-1994, it reached 95%, the most ever recorded. That was during the 5 year wild weather ride courtesy the Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 1991. Anyhow, I'm glad to see that Chicago is still in one piece after watching the Transformer movies. :)

53:12 , start seeing snow on the ground. (Philly area saw LESS than 1" of snow this entire winter)

It's not very often we can say we got more snow than Philadelphia. I live in Kansas, near the Missouri border close to Joplin Missouri.

Hey Skylite. I know, twice in one day! Actually only minutes apart, but I could not help but ask you this question that has dogged me forever. Check out 1:57, the USB ports and the 120v outlets. Why the heck is the labeling printed right side up, as well as upside down! I know I'm probably going to be embarrassed when I get the answer, but I just imagine the scenario over at the Boeing factory when one of the designers suddenly stops what he/she is doing and announces the following: "Change in plans ladies and gentlemen. Admin just sent an urgent memo directing us to redesign the front of the USB/power panels to include BOTH regular labeling, and now UPSIDE down labeling as well. Unfortunately folks, we have to reduce your wages to compensate for this extra use of ink!"

You know, I've noticed this too. And you know what the crazy thing is? Some times the words are only printed one direction and yet they install them upside down... How does that make any sense. In this case, I'm in the same boat as you. I have no idea why. Maybe they company that supplies those does it so that no matter how the airline chooses to install them, the writing will still be legible. But that doesn't explain the ones that only have one stamp and it's still upside down.

Great fly! Do you wear nose cancellation headphones while flying?
@sla31 Жыл бұрын
I wear Beats over ear headphones. They're not specifically designed as noise cancelling, but they do work pretty well for that.

Hi bryce do you notice that the iPhone 15 Pro MAX Is gonna exist in 2024?

Frontier has 7 liverys.
@sla31 Жыл бұрын
Well, if you want to get technical, every Frontier livery is different because it has a different tail design. So there's really dozens if not over 100. I don't know how many different tail designs they have but I think they're different on every single plane. And yes, there's always going to be a new iPhone.

one question: do you fly every day? or what is the situation? do you have a high-travel job?
@RoadsOfAsiaBen Жыл бұрын
From his reply to anyone asking this: "Just over a year ago, I was working as an aircraft rescue firefighter during the week and I flew for the channel on the weekends. I decided I wanted a change and I sold a car I’d had for many years that I loved to finance me attempting to run this channel full time as my only job. Since then I’ve lost money more months than I’ve made a profit, but I’m still chugging along. I pay for the flights either the ad revenues generated from you and everyone else who watch. So your support means a great deal of me. I’m trying to produce the highest quality aviation videos on KZbin and I couldn’t do it without everyone continuing to watch. And it’s always just been me my friend. I do everything myself. I plan the trips, film everything, edit it, upload, reply to comments, etc. It’s all just me my friend." He is self-employed and making money from viewers, ad, and Patreon supporters.

@@RoadsOfAsiaBen ok thank you. just a question! no harm! :)
@sla31 Жыл бұрын
Well, I wouldn't' say that's my response to everyone haha. I don't copy and paste responses. In fact, I believe I've only ever mentioned the part about my car once and I get this question quite a lot. But, the answer is still the same. I used to do everything on here in addition to another job, and now I do it full time. But I don't get paid by the airlines or anyone else to do it besides KZbin and Patreon. I don't fly for free, and I don't travel for some other job and just film as I go. So, I really appreciate everyone who takes the time to watch, like and subscribe. I'm a one man show here and I put a ton of work into releasing daily content. So, I really appreciate it when people take the time to engage!
