1:09:36 I don't know if you are able to see it, but right as plane was landing here, another plane was on a parallel runway far away for a takeoff you can see it taking off at 1:10:04 in the top left corner I thought I should just point out this small event :)

They sure do. Business class is where it's at. In Europe that gets you the same exact seat with the guarantee the middle seat won't be sold haha.

Great fly! Have you heard of two news? Boeing 737 in Senegal caught fire and skid off the runway leaving 10 people injured? Delta flight from Milwaukee declared emergency landing after nose gear scarce which landed in Atlanta?

I saw mentions of both, but haven't really read any into them. I'm on a trip right now and I don't really have much down time when I'm filming.

What is the sound that we hear here 1:18:57 ?
@sla317 ай бұрын
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it has something to do with the hydraulic system the the brakes. Some actuator or pump turning on or off when pressure is applied or released form the brakes.

Did the captain just do a full circle, and ended up going the same direction he was going before the turn?
@sla318 ай бұрын
Yes. Due to the number of planes trying to get in line to land, we had to do a short 360 hold before slotting in line. Basically an ATC instruction for spacing.

LHR is the busiest two runway airport in the world. They have to find ways to sequence them and pack them in tight.

I need to understand what job it is you have that allows you to take this many flights. That, or you’re a benevolent millionaire who’s decided to spaff it all on making airliner porn for AV nerds struggling to get to sleep. Either way, I salute you in doing God’s work.
@sla318 ай бұрын
Haha, I wish I was a benevolent millionaire. If I was, most of my content wouldn't be short domestic flights haha. The job that allows me to do this, is this channel. I've run it full time for over 2 years now. Before that I was an aircraft rescue firefighter and airport operations specialist. Over the years, I used my own disposable income to keep the channel running and as I said, in the last couple of years, it's started to pay me back. Now, don't misunderstand. I'm not raking in tons of cash haha. I still have to carefully budget every flight to make sure I don't bankrupt myself, but ultimately it is the channel that now allows me to keep traveling. For reference the channel is 9 years old. So, it was a long and expensive road to get it to the point where it was basically covering all my expenses.
