What are the little adjustments that the pilot on the left keeps making? Little knobs that are turned? Why are some of the top row readouts blinking? Also what are they looking out for out the window? It's clear to me the two men are preoccupied - but I'm not sure at what. I assume they're changing the original flight path to get clear of storm clouds and/or birds?

New to this channel, and recently flying again after many years off due to my own phobia. Part of my homework is watching flying videos. But I can't tell what is happening in this video. I watched it expecting to see a thunderstorm, but it doesn't even look like they're in rain. Also, what's the time count on the GRD CALL button you mention? There are so many noises at the onset to them taking off - is this one of them? Also, which part of the flight is autopilot? Is any of this video autopilot, and they've just got their hands on the wheel just in case?

Just means they were aligned with the center-line of the runway as the tires ran over the almost flush center-line lights. Most of us offset just a bit to avoid the noise/thumping. The 737 is particularly loud, and also in the air due to wind noise. Frankly surprises they don't have noise cancelling headsets.

Why are you not keep your hand on the throttle on takeoff ??
@13rdp3 ай бұрын
Beacause the question of rejecting the take off or continuing is one of the most critical in our business. Some companies will let the same crew member taking off and keeping hands on the throttle some will request the PIC to handle the throttles, and some will even have both hands when the first officer is flying. Just a question of procedure choice by the company.

@@aviationattract4292 Do I need any aviation knowledge to recognize two confused people? The captain even looks nervous, and as the PM, he does not pay attention to what's important. He is preoccupied with the overhead panel and doesn't even appear to understand what ATC is saying to him. Basically, it's very poor distraction and workload management with little evidence of basic airmanship. If this is supposed to be an example of good crew coordination, then Tarom might need to look at their training program.
