Wow got those flaps out way early on landing....always cool to see a landing on 26 at PHx too. Yours was butter! A lot of ppl say the smartest thing Airbus did was make the NEOs.... i always said the smartest thing they did was keep the A321 in production especially once the 75 ceased priduction and its own order numbers became very low. Its like Airbus knew all they needed to do was wait Boeing out. And now they've re engined thr A321 leaving its wing lifting capacity the last thing holding it back from being a true 75 replacement........kind of funny how Airbus recently finished testing a new wing (with 777x-esq folding wing tips that could show up on a proposed A322. An A321 NEO with a new wing and new flightdeck just because.....yeah Boeing might as well stick to widebodies. I really like these United birds! My question for you as you have considerable time on both..... Max or 321NEO? Edit also it amazes me that the FAs still have to tell ppl to put their seatbacks up before pushback and ppls phones still ring before takeoff in this day and age lol

Who would've thought that today would be the day we hit 100K. I'll be in PHX again in a few days. For a pretty special flight too! I've been invited by Southwest to take a very special flight. Their chief pilot who is based in Phoenix is retiring and his final flight is next week on the 11th from Long Beach to Phoenix. I've always wanted to take and feature a senior crew member's retirement flight. That will finally be realized next week! And in Phoenix to boot!

Love your content man. Absolutely fantastic. Just wondering, how do you record the whole flight at once? I have a GoPro but a half hour recording is around 50gb and takes up the whole battery.. are you using something other than a GoPro for example?
@sla318 ай бұрын
Thanks my friend. I'm glad you enjoy the content. I travel with quite the setup to film with. First, I don't use GoPros. Their image quality is subpar compared to other options. I film everything with iPhones. Currently 14 and 15 Pros. I travel with two 1TB iPhone 14/15 Pros. One each right now. And I don't use those for anything but filming. So every trip I take they're cleared off and I have the full 2TB of space available. I also travel with a MacBook Pro that has a 1TB SSD and an additional 2TB SSD external drive. So on every trip I have 2TB of immediate storage and another 3TB of overflow storage should I need it. I then travel with 3 20,000 mAh battery packs to keep the cameras charged. That's enough power to charge an iPhone 21 times over.

Great Flight! Would you rather fly on the UA A321Neo or a DL A321Neo?
@sla319 ай бұрын
Well, they're basically the same with the exception of a few of the IFE features and snack bar. So, just objectively looking at it on paper, United wins out with those few extra features. Personally, I would also chose United over Delta, but that's simply because I maintain Star Alliance Gold status so I fly United over Delta anyway haha.
@GarlandTexasSpotter20249 ай бұрын
@@sla31I do have to agree with the extra features on UA. Plus, UA kinda reminds of JB just without the mint suites. I have been a lot of comments of how rude United’s staff are and bags getting lost, I have been on United 3 times and i absolutely had no problem with the crew and the check in. All of my bags came out with zero damage.

Why does the Pilot have to ping so much during flight?? Thats alot pings. I wondered why?
@sla319 ай бұрын
It was passengers. The flight attendant call button looks exactly like the light button. So a poor choice in design there, leading to a lot of accidental flight attendant calls.
@boeing737d9 ай бұрын
@@sla31 oohhhh! Since I’m deaf, those sounds are similar to pings. I’m like, annoying. Lol.
@heatherstub7 ай бұрын
The call button is a D above Middle C, and the Seatbelt Sign is a B above Middle C. Hence, it's lower than the call bell. I totally agree, too, because it can be very annoying.@@boeing737d
