Kyoto is always beautiful as it is. It is like a scene of a movie. Especially, in the sunset and nighttime, it's just breathtaking.

When I lived in Kyoto, this was my walk home. There was a Yakuza headquarters along there too. And brothels, but this was back in the 80's. Ah, memories.

I remember the train stations literally run all day long like clock work . The bikes lined up in rows of craziness. The restaurants everywhere but so private with thick curtains you had to push through to go in . The sounds the sights and the loveliness of Japan will never leave me . I’ve been in villages with beautiful hot springs. Cherry blossoms 🌸 festivals , girls day , boys day , kite day festivals. You name it . And I’m happy to say I was so young there wasn’t any Americans around. Not like today . Authentic. I still to this day appreciate Japanese culture. I lived In Japan for 6 years .

Amazing picture in HDR! watching this on my Sony X950H again and im blown away by the picture quality. you really nailed the tonemapping also. this is daytime but the picture isnt super bright and not blownout or harsh just natural brightness levels. problem that most has when shooting in HDR is that daytime scenes looks like you have dynamic mode on in SDR. way too bright picture. this is reference for how daytime scenes should look in HDR. keep it up!
