Watched this and the pixel video through youtube webpage without HDR in 4k, iphone video has a very bad color cast on the skin (almost unbearable) and a smoke screen through the entire video which is missing in pixel, both have the typical grainy noise due to the tiny sensor, iphone has more washed out color and color cast, google pixel color are slightly better, motion on the iphone ios better than pixel. Overall both iphone and the pixel videos are relatively mediocre compared to your Sony Alpha FX3 considering these phones cost 1200+ USD.

How you managed to avoid iPhone lens flare at night? Filters?

Im always amazed by the quality of infrastructure and the cleanliness of the streets in Japan.

Pixel's have come a loooong way, because although it can get fuzzy during movement at times, it has very impressive focus and clarity in low light.

It gets grainy and weird at times, but it does an excellent job at lighting everything up in low light.

It's better than I thought it would be. I give it til about the Pixel 11 when the Pixel video is better than iphone.

I think it was James Cameron who said something like "video shot in 60fps or higher takes the lens out of reality", which is so accurate. This video is so clear and smooth it doesn't even feel like watching something real.

Standard mode is too desaturated. And the shadows are too bright. Things get very blurry around the edges of the ultra wide. And the telephoto picture is noisy.

Yes video boost seems to be better at least in this kind of light conditions. I know it's an iPhone video but have to give a "well done" to Google, for probably delivering the best video quality with a smartphone this year.
