Just completed mine (nov 1). This is what i had to do. Starting from a parking space- back out to the left then go forward and turn right to stop between two cones. Then 20 mph(not 10, but i only got up to 15ish before being told to stop) emergency stop. Then back up in straight line. Then forward again and make a u turn around cone. Then 3 point turn. Then u turn again around cone. Then turn right and then park between cones on the left side. Then back out and park again on either side of the cones. Got 100% - dont be afraid to clarify what the directions are.

If you are moving to Florida there is a little more to the test you actually have to go on to the road for a minute or two and

@@chasethehistorian2003 Yeah I’ve come to the conclusion that with how easy the driving test is here in my hometown (they only use a few variants of the same two easy courses) and the fact that I’d probably need to do it though a driving school in FL and risk failing after spending almost $200, it’s definitely way better to get it up here. I’m getting closer to getting it, my Jeep I bought a while back has needed a lot of work but I’m almost done fixing it to be able to get much more driving practice and have my own vehicle to do the test in. Out of all my family members there aren’t a whole lot of vehicles that are fit for a DMV examiner.

@@mk6ninja385 I’m sure it varies depending on the parts of Florida you live in. I have my test on Friday, but my instructor has told me how the test is somewhat structured where I live. The layout is a little different, but all the same things. The only other things that I have on my test are yellow and red flashing lights, so either yielding or completely stopping before moving and multiple stops signs and turns. Like I said, besides that, it’s all the same for where I live in Florida. Good luck to the both of you!!

I don't think it's the same. In northern Florida (St. Augustine) the test is around 20 minutes long. My friend told me this; I didn't take the test myself.

If you are parking up a hill with the curb on your right side, you want to turn the wheels to the left. This is so if your parking brake fails the car will roll back and the front right wheel will be stopped by the curb. If you are parking downhill with curb on your right, yo want to turn the wheels to the right. This is so if you roll forward your front right wheel will also be stopped by the curb.

No, you cant use your backup cam in the test. During backing up, you need to show the right posture to the examiner, which is looking at the back, turning your torso towards right. One needs to keep looking at the back (this is important), if you look at the front while backing, the points would get deducted. All the best for your test!!

Do you have any tips for the parking? I drive an SUV and can park between cars comfortably. The thing is the cones are placed exactly at the end of the parking space, while a car is a foot shorter. Follow up: Do you know if we're allowed to back up and adjust if I'm not sure I'm gonna clear the cone? In the dash cam, it looks like you barely cleared it
