Hey everyone! So, I just wanted to share a bit about my driving journey. I've failed my driving test three times now, and it’s been super frustrating. The first time, I was way too nervous and messed up my parallel parking. The second time, I got a bit confused with the signs, and the third... let’s just say I wasn’t paying enough attention to my surroundings. I almost gave up because it felt like I’d never get my license, but then I found this amazing private DMV instructor who really helped me out to get my license without the test. I got a provisional license which would last for 12 months and then i renew and get the official one. I barely drive also.

After two failed attempts, I finally got my driver's license! It's easy to fail for small mistakes, so don't be discouraged. Keep practicing, and you'll find someone who believes in you as for me I took a step further by contacting a private DMV agent who helped me skip the driving test, and I got a provisional license that lasts for 12 months. After a year, I can just renew it. If you're nervous about the test, consider getting a provisional license instead, which doesn't require a driving test.

I have passed my road test at Oakland DMV ( Tn) on 12.27.23 though it’s my 2nd attempt. On my first one had 10 minus scores esp excess speed on turning, backing up not okay ( rear view focus while backing up expected) and parking speed excess ( I was parked at 15 mph but it should be around 5 mph). Had 3 weeks time for 2nd road test and I did more home-works with Ms.Jacqueline Safe driving podcasts and DMV manual guidelines. This time passed with no remarks. Just failed my third road test today I made a huge mistake. I was super nervous and my nerves ended up taking over.I ended up turning into oncoming traffic. It was super dumb and I will definitely not do that again. This video really helped me gain my confidence back. The driving instructor that i have now had twice said that I know how to drive, I just let my nerves get the best of me. To anyone who needs confidence, I know you can pass your test as long as you stay calm. It doesn't matter how many times you fail. It just matters that you try to fix your mistakes. I have to say, I would be surprised that the turning light was expected in a parking lot, when the road only continues in one direction. at 4:15 I will say however, that in general, your instructions, and videos are some of the best I have seen. I use and reference your videos often when working with new drivers.

I just passed my road test today, and very much appreciated the author of this KZbin channel!!! I found for me, as for a person with bad English, that her speech and explanation is very informative and clear, also I used an application zutobi, and I can say it is worth it. I've passed my theory exam with 1 mistake of 40 questions, and got 5 points out of 10 during the road test, I think it's a good result of my only 2 months driving experience, I really recommend to watch all videos and some of them even twice!

Thank you Jacqueline you explained everything so well, i really appreciate it. Actually i did my car license almost 30 years ago, i did my bike license and I also did my CDL A license, but that was all done in South Africa, my home country. Now I'm working in New York and apparently the state doesn't honor my license, so i had to start learning and doing all over again. At least i already did the learner permit and the 5 hr online course, now the next thing will be the road test with the car and from there it will be the CDL A learner permit. Question when backing: do we need to put one of our hand at the back of passenger's headrest or is it okay to just place our two hands in the steering wheel? 9:44

Having both hands on the steering wheel is the recommended technique while backing. Placing your hand at the back of the passenger's headrest is not a standard practice and may not provide optimal control during the backing maneuver. Keep both hands on the steering wheel for better control and safety.
