Love Innsbruck, spend a week there years ago.. this brings back memories. Beautiful mountains.. wish I had a 4k monitor to enjoy this footage! Hopefully you didn't take your camera down from the top tram. Following snowboarders from there was one of my toughest shooting assignments!

Nice photography, my monitor was a bit soft on 4k even though it says 2160 in the settings (Apple Cinema Display), probably because I am using a 4 year old HTC phone to connect but it was streaming the 1440 ok and it looks great. Nice atmosphere with the hypnotic music.

Is VFX we always say as a joke: "shoot and comp in at least twice the final res, that way everything blends the best" Now I live by that rule (all though I hardly ever get that footage delivered :D) T But when I finally have my 1DC I so am getting a 4K screen too I want to view it in it's 4K glory, and finally downsize again to 720p or 1080p for the customer but it's the thought that matters :D Luckily I really oversized my VFX machine when I build in last year.

I enjoy all your videos and reviews and such. I recently purchased the new Sony FDR-AX1 and am surprised at the good quality of the compressed video. I have some samples under my KZbin name wind2058. I watch mine on a 55" 4K Seiki TV, which I purchased at Sears for only $850. It is very close to what you have here. I am assuming you used the camera you reviewed on your website, the Canon 1Dc. Awesome shots. I find high quality 2D video so much better than 3D.. 3D kind of ruins movies for me. The only thing I´m not a fan of is the music in this video. Others in my surrroundings were complaining about it when I was watching the vid. Austria offers so much possibilities though, would love to see what you could come up with during a long stay. Also worth a visit during summer, especially if you enjoy hiking.

Sorry you don't like the music. This series of "postcards" are all ambient style music designed to simply enhance the visuals not overpower them. For me the music has an otherworldly-ness to it that was the feeling I got when I went up that mountain.

hi Philip I like your Videos a lot, but in this case the music does not fit at all in my opinion. It should be more "fresh" and a bit cinematic with those great view from the mountains and this feeling of sun on your skin. As I am from Austria and original born nearby I would like to see this more "positive". The music does not transport those feelings at all.
