I flew only 1 time on a 757 from Orlando to Ohare and was awed by the power it had as it seemed that it hardly went down the runway very far and was airborne. It's a wonderful airplane and Boeing shouldve kept building them.

Totally agree. I would prefer 757MAX over 737MAX if Boeing ever consider that😂

@@MqLei I sure wish there could have been a second more efficient generation. Cause the 75 only ran for one generation from 1982-2004. It’s old technology.

Very similar sounds that have been used: Boeing C-17 Globe-master, 757, Airbus A319, A320, A321, A340-200 and A340-300.

Some engines have buzzsaw sound when at higher power settings, for example, PW2000 and RB211 that 757s use, and CFM56, which is used by A320 family, 737 family and A340-200/300, so they would sound similar but they are not exactly the same. I personally prefer the sound on 757s

That engine is actually the same one that is used on C17s

The Pratt engines look better than the Rolls engines on the 757.But the RR engines are very reliable.
@MqLei Жыл бұрын
Yeah PW2000 looks larger, RB211 is more like a long tube, but I like both
