As a victim of a "chapiadora", I appreciate you giving that very important cavet. The preceeding good qualities of a great many Dominican women are also quite accurately described and I've had the good fortune of meeting several quality women of that ilk. My first hand/personal advice would be to pursue/date professional/employeed women and not the "sharks" nearer the "surface of the dating pool" (pun intended) most foreigners will meet initially. Yes, not every DR chick applies. I was married to a Dominican woman for 6 years. I've been divorced since 2001. We have a son. Before she could rip me off, I divorced her in my home country according to my rules. I didn't hear from her for a few years after that. She returned to her home country and was not welcomed enthusiastically there. Our son stayed with me and his grandparents because I was and still am often abroad for work. No chapiadora rips me off. You take what you need from women like that and then you get rid of them. There are more than enough willing chicas running around in the DR.

Well, for me is all clear. Most of dominican woman (but not all) is formed in an hipermaterialistic dominican culture, when the only decisive factor to look in a man is the money and the car. Nothing more. In their homes, most of dominican woman its indoctrinated from her parents and family to search a rich man, with a lot of money, for look for a man with properties, for look for a man with a good car. In this culture the concep of a traditional family is surpased with those materialistic concepts. Todays dominicans have the dembow culture as the primary source of education, the schools exist in dominican republic as representative institutions, but dont work, the educational sistem of DR is extremely ineficient. Instead, the dembow music constantly repeat and repeat the same concepts all day to todays DR people.

I think that applies to guys 35 and older I've lived in DR and I've "been with" women close to 35 but in general I had an easy time with girls in their early 20s no money exchange, I speak Spanish and deal with DR girls like I do American women and DR women are far easier to deal with

Men are supposedly more logical. 😂😂😂 All women in all countries see dollar signs when they see an American man. The passport is strong and the dollar is one of the strongest currencies in the world. Women are supposed to be provided for. The problem is that you guys have zero boundaries. Im a married woman, a male neighbor of mine from years ago married a Thai woman about 20 years ago. He said he set the tone by keeping boundaries and it works for them, they have a beautiful marriage. In DR most families live in coordination with the extended family, with many grandparents helping out with the children. Also, many more families have domestic help for cleaning, cooking, washing, ironing, etc.
