No idea on the overheads because I haven't seen them in frame but he's using an sm7b on the snare.

In some of the lower tunings, I can see the dial slightly detuning with every hit. Sounds amazing obviously but have you had any issues with detuning over the coarse of a song or session of playing?

Proof that tuning and head choice are 99% of a snare drum sound. Forget shell construction.
