I am from Denmark. My family and I visited Solvang in 2018 so your video brings back good memories. As far as I remember Solvang was founded by danish teachers in 1911. Can’t believe how it must have been to leave family and everything behind in Denmark knowing you probably never would see them again. My great grandfathers sister left Denmark for USA in 1906. My family and I have visited the ancestors 3 times during the last 8 years (they are living in Illinois).

I live in southern California. Even in the winter time every one wears a T-shirt. You can't beat california weather even in Solvang. If it snowed in Solvang, it would be even nicer but it will never happen.

Christmas is the time to visit Solvang. Did this trip last year. Was not disappointed. Also the wine tasting rooms are super cheap for some quality wines as compared to Napa Valley.

It's Disneyland without gates or admission. And, it's not three-quarter size. Of course, you have to try a pastry or cookie. But, I had a good dinner, too. It's great fun. I sent postcards to family and friends.

I have used some of your videos to watch while playing my own music on the elliptical. I watched this one today. I decided to go back and watch it on the computer rather than the Fire tablet, using my headphones. Wow! I had no idea!!! I was totally immersed in the beautiful video and amazing sound. Hate to burst your bubble but this area looks like 4th St. in Berkeley, CA. But in Berkeley, CA you won't see this happening. Berkeley, CA is what conservatives call a (lefty) area here in Northern CA. but it's just a diverse group of citizens who respect the government's concerns, requests regarding the COVID 19 spread and not inviting people from other countries to help break the laws, like, this and putting others' lives in danger.

Im Danish and im confused , why is the architecure on the houses and the windmills and clougs dutch but the baker , flags and the name solvang danish ? NETHERLANDS/ Holland are speaking Dutch and iDenmark is two different European countries Do you know you mixed up two different countries ? That is soooo hilarious funny 😂 If you been to Solvang and wanna be a tourist in denmark you will be very disappointed , because Solvang is a cooy of Netherlands/holland and NOT denmark !!!
