Can we talk about how clean and colourful Tirana is? Albania just jumped to the top of my travel list!
@4KWorldWandering4 ай бұрын
Absolutely! Tirana is such a hidden gem with its vibrant colors and cleanliness.

Albania loves colours, and it's all thanks to our Prime Minister Edi Rama, an artist and a painter. He was the mayor of Tirana 20 years ago, and he was the one who started the modernization of the city and painting its buildings. It was a very bold move at first, but he got so many international prices for that. Thank God he became the Prime Minister after, so he did the same thing all around Albania right now. We need him to stay at least 10 more years in power as he is very daring and brave to bring the best architects from around the world for any new project in place......

I am from Serbia and I think this is very nice. I visited Shkodra and Vlore, but not Tirana. Very interesting, colorful, excellent green cafes in the shade. Must have been totally different at the time of Enver Hoxha. Good job, Albania, quite a transformation.

@user-ii3eu6xd8h Albania was completely simple during communism, nothing modern AT ALL. In terms of nature, it was a paradise, full of greenery, wild flowers, fireflies, clean air, no traffic, no pollution as there were no private cars, only public buses and trains, a very,very safe country in terms of crime, people were poor but happy as life was equal for everyone, everybody had the same clothes, same food, same amenities and social life, family relations were very, very strong. The 90-s were a nightmare for the Albanians and the Albania. So much destruction, theft, corruption, uprising, chaos, not understanding what capitalism really meant while the mentality of the people was still the same as during Communism. Until 2000, Albania was on its knees, Tirana, Durres, and other towns became rambuctuos " free for all, free for everybody." People invaded the main towns and built illegally wherever they wanted, whenever they wanted.... Finally, Edi Rama became a mayor of Tirana, dared to demolish illegal buildings himself to give a breath and fresh air to choked Tirana. It was his idea to paint the grey communist building in different colours, bringing the best architects from around the world for every project winning many international prizes worldwide.After the mayor, he became the PrimeMinister o Albania, changing the whole Albania now, not only Tirana. He is the one who made Tirana and Vlora, and there are big projects in place ( changing the face of the cities) for other big cities like Durres, Shkodra, and Elbasani..... From 2010, Albanians got prosperous living around Europe for 20 years now, the money poured in the country massively, and the country has changed immensely for a very short time. Albanians are very vital and lively people, very hard-working people with a very strong energy and super active ones. There are no lazy Albanians. There are either hard-working people or mafia ones, nothing in between. To people who have never seen Albania 20 years ago, the changes mean nothing, but people who have seen it 20 years ago and have turned back, to them the country is unrecognisable......

Hi - Very interesting video! I just recently met for the first time in my life - 2 different Albanian people in a local mobile phone store. One was an employee and the other was with a friend who was getting a phone. After I left the store I remembered that the famous late Mother Teresa came from Albania. Thank you for posting this. Cheers! 🍁🍁

Maybe label the audio drop outs? Or better yet paste other audio from the walk over the blank spots.

We try to catch all the copyrights, and do multiple sound tests, you'd be amazed at how each time you upload a video youtube finds different results. Its extremely unreliable system and there's zero options for post sound edits/fixes.

So if they declare 250€ or even cheaper...in fact they pay way more but declearing real wage would tax them more from the government! Stupid action that's ending soon
