There's something about the urban structure of Japan that really calls to me. I'm aware that you're probably going through the "nicer" neighborhoods, but the whole thing where the streets are very narrow, there's a small playground right there... It evokes (to me) a sense of closeness... It's very beautiful to watch and imagine what a regular day is for the people living in that specific area. Thank you for doing this.

For me, it's the feeling I get from these is that the streets are like part of my personal space. Probably, the combination of cleanliness, low traffic, no excessive noise, the lack of parked cars, and so many human-scale details. Also, I get that liminal space vibe which I love!

When I was laid off back in 2020 because of the pandemic, and had more than enough time stuck in my home, I discovered this channel, and found Rambalac's 4K walks through Japan to be a great escape. Every several months I come back to his channel to see what else he's done. I'm glad he keeps making these. And like many of the commenters, I'm always impressed with how clean and orderly the streets of Tokyo appear.

I usually play something in the background while I sleep. Either 8-hour lengthy rain, horror podcasts or any random video like a cartoon or something, cause I need some kind of noise to keep me company, I guess, it brings a bit of comfort. So I had autoplay mode on and I went to sleep playing a video, it has ended up on this rainy walk in Tokyo video when I woke up. I am so glad I bumped into this, this is what I aspire to do someday, just walk in a tidy, fairytalelike place, away from the chaotic world. This is so lovely, now I am gonna be playing this and stare at it till I nod off. Thank you so much. I will get a camera as soon as I am rich enough and head out on a long stroll. XD

As someone who grew up in Taiwan but has been living in the U.S. for many years, I love watching these videos of you walking around in Japan. The streets of Tokyo feel so familiar yet different at the same time and evoke a hard-to-put-into-words feeling and ambience. Many people from Taiwan probably know exactly what I mean.

From what I have learned, for us non-japanese (tourists) many corners of Ikebukuro-ku are mostly still insider tips. Will definitely explore the ward a little bit more in my next trip. Especially, I always love the the small side streets that Rambalac always goes through. Where you don't necessarily go along as a tourist.

My dear friend Mizuho always said me: "Don't be a b!tch!!! You don't need to be borned in Japan to be a japanese girl!!!" It's all about this she always talked, to be a japanese, you just need to see things like they see, and understand how things sorround you are... Watching these videos, all her words come back to me. Japan, especially Tokyo, have some magical atmosphere, even to people who lived there. I like nature, I like country places, but I'm a urban-type girl, and love these places were Rambalac go through, in special, these near houses and small markets because is were people lives, the commom people... This brings to me many good memories. And good slide! That boy almost hurted himself trying it, while you, even with the camera and all stuff, make it with shine. And thanks, I'm so grateful to you for bring to us this awesome videos. You must get tired after all this journeys, but you're a true brave guy!
