Hussain Sagar is a heart-shaped manmade lake located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, constructed in 1562 by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah. The lake spans an area of 5.7 square kilometers and separates the city center of Hyderabad from Secunderabad. It has a maximum depth of 32 feet (9.8 meters) and is fed by a small tributary of the Musi River, maintaining water all year round.
