Thank you for the beautiful walk. It's so good to see Mexico again, my father recently passed away and it was so nice to walk the streets and hear the familiar sounds of his homeland, feel the open air breeze, the way we did when I was a child. This was so very special to me! 💖

Any chance to add HDR quality/content? While we love 4K, many feel HDR adds a 3D improvement - the Colors and Contrasts in the bright light of Mexico would be amazing!! - a thought.... Love your channel!

That’s a liiiiittle above our equipment / expertise level at the moment, but hopefully one day because you’re right, the colors of Mexico deserve it!!

with no doubt the City of Merida es the best city to live in Mexico. I lived there for 2 years and I cannot wait to come back. I met the nicest and more willing to help people in my Life: Mildred, Julio, Benjamin, Luis, Paty, Eleazar, Cesar, and many other nice people who take pride in their MAyan background. Come Visit México!!!

Thanks for your video! So great to see the plaza again, we were there last month and they made my husband move, and sit on the other side of the plants lol! We have a place to restore there and we made the decision it is time for us to make the move. We are getting rid of stuff and it is fun and scary at the same time.
@TravelWTravis4 жыл бұрын
Haha that's hilarious - I loved how the plants were on the benches, what a great way to enforce social distancing :) And congrats on making the move!! It's super scary but it'll all be worth it when you're here!

i watched the whole video and i loved it no commentary no annoying background music and none of that crazy camera spinning shots, that be pointing the camera up and down and left and right constantly lol..

I was planning to stay in Merida for a month at an AirBnB until Coronavirus. I'm now shooting for 2021, I'm a lesbian, vegetarian and financially independent (retired) in Austin, Tx. I love your videos and maybe someday we can meet up for cafe (con leche). My goal is to consider a permanent move, maybe buy property, etc. I've been to Yucatan and Quintanaroo many times but never been to Merida. You guys are great and I feel like you are on the right path.
@TravelWTravis4 жыл бұрын
Oh that's so nice - thanks for the kind words! We'd love to meet up for a coffee (con almond leche 🙃) whenever you get here! And this seems like a great place to retire, although from what we've heard we have to wait until experiencing the summer heat (and storms) until we can give a proper stamp of approval. Buuuut so far, so good! Thanks again for watching!!

Lovely video. I have dreamed of moving there for a few years. Would qualify for dual citizenship. Alas I think the time passed I could move alone due to health. My nest egg dried up having to go on disability, though monthly I think finances would be OK . Never say never. The future is unwritten and dreaming is free.

I think I've developed claustrophobia watching this video. Nothing but walls around. I wanted to be lifted up by a helicopter and taken to an open area. Where do people go for an outdoor run and exercise?

haha there are some parks in Merida but it's definitely not the greenest city we've visited (check out our CDMX and SLP videos if you're looking for some beautiful parks!)
