Mine too, app is unusable to me. Motorla One 5g Ace Android 11. Yet I can fly drones and use the Akaso app with it. disappointing. Also I was using a 32gb U1 sdhc card, does not work, ordered 64gn U3 card, if that doesn't improve cam function I will be returning to Amazon. Cam seems toy grade.

The zoom on the Surfola is digital, not optical, so it's not a feature I use. I am curious which one you went with.

The SF530 uses the Allwinner V316 processor, powered by Dual core Arm Cortex-A7 processor @ 1.2 GHz. The V316 supports true 4K30 processing with H.264/H.265 encoding, built in hardware distortion correction and EIS. It can record at much higher speeds at lower resolutions. I plan on demonstrating 240fps @ 720p on a future video. Camera performance depends on several things including the lens, sensor, chip, firmware, microphone, and card being used. Not all cameras with the V316 will offer the full feature set of this chip. For example, the Surfola SF530 only supports H.264, not H.265. Regardless, the Dual core Arm Cortex-A7 @ 1.2 GHz is up to the task for 4K30 while keeping this camera affordable. I'd love to see how the "in-cam- mic audio compared indoors to your line mic (side by side). Would like to have seen the remote functioning too. But regardless, I still bought one. Going to try and DIY a shoulder-cam, so pricepoint was part motivation in the purchase too.

@@johnsaucerhunter This kit did not come with it's own external microphone.The mic I used was for a Campark V30, but the level was too hot, and I did not see a mic level function in the camera menus. Surfola has released a microphone for one of their other cameras, but I do not know if it is guaranteed to work with the SF530. When I do a followup, I will include the remote function.
