Sorry if late, Jake didn't know the specifics only that his father tried to destroy the world. He was mad at Chris because his mom loved Albert and died in poverty waiting for him to come back. Technically nothing has been said about Jake having enhanced stats but his performance suggests he does have them considering we see regular BSAA soldiers in Chris campaign get one hand manhandled by them and Jake has little issue overpowering them.
