what I really enjoy about Japanese train journey like this is about the amount of scenery we get in short period of time. Forest, field, rural, small villages, small town, anything. Thx a lot.
Thank you for this wonderful video. This is the first Shikoku train video I've enjoyed watching, especially the footage along the sea. Very beautiful and very interesting. Watching in America.

I was supposed to visit Shikoku with my family in May 2020, and we were planning to visit Shimonada station for that anime vibe. COVID-19 of course put a stop to that - thank you so much for uploading this! 1:04:59

This was great! Thank you. I love sneaking a peek into peoples yards as we passed by. You know, it doesn't matter where in the world we are, most of us just have far too much stuff (although Japan keeps it pretty tidy). I always keep Google earth open while I travel, and stop from time to time to see where I am. Try it sometime.

Its incredible... somehow it proves to look like a railway overtaken by nature left to rot and yet... it looks to be in excellent working condition. Hard cold steel at one with nature and its surroundings. beautiful scenery and a wonderful ride. Nice! From Canada

Couldn't agree more. What a fabulous ride. I play it a 2x speed with some nice relaxing music in the background. Thoroughly enjoyable experience riding on one lonely carriage through some magical places. Things you don't see down in Oz !
An excelent footage, featuring breathtaking landscapes, with the scenery changing all the time. Thanks for sharing this relaxing video, travelling around Japan with the comfort of your home. With greetings from Brazil. We wish we had railway tracks and passenger trains like that someday....sob!!

Light at the end of the tunnel. Excellent video. Regards from Australia.
Very enjoyable cab ride, enjoyed every km of it, love your camera perspective with full view to the outside, unfortunately many cab rides in Japan are filmed from inside, where you mostly see the driver cabin, and just a little from outside. Subbed, greetings from a fellow creator (of road videos) from Germany!

I love watching the Japanese train videos. When you see one like this you realize how ugly all the overhead wires are. I realize why they're there, but I think everyone there would be glad to see a system that didn't require the wires or the diesel fuel to operate the trains. Maybe sometime in the future that will happen.

This is fantastic. I feel like I've had the best seat on a glorious train ride through Japan. I'm guessing you shot this with a Lumix GH5. Can you tell me what camera equipment you used? Thanks!

I'm surprised how many balconies there are. I'm from a colder climate and they aren't that common on single family houses here.

Fantastic video and I hope to see more. Beautiful light and landscape! :-)
