4m Tring Parrot Repeater on Icom 7300

Tell me are you using 12.5khz FM-Narrow mode on that band,I havnt seen any vids about IC7300 wide\Narrow FM dev\bandwidth selection .As 4m is generally 2.5khz dev max and 9khz IF filter.50mhz generally use FM wide 4-5khz dev ,be very interested in seeing a video on that with the Icom as there are none. 73 Rob

Hi james,ah bit like me dont read the supplied 4001 page user manual lol OK on not being aware.Any chance could do a video on fm wide arrow Channel bandwidth\deviation mode on IC-7300 no ones actually done one yet.Just as ref 70mhz is all 12.5khz bandwidth based,50mhz is 20khz bandith so FM wide usa\UK\EU but some UK repeaters do use the narrow fm,some dont.10/11m UK hamd\CB all FM narrow,only USA 10m HAM band uses the wider FM mode.You wont find that in manual! a lot of confusing info on net as well esp USA VS UK specs.Just wanted to know what this new Icom supports in FM (25/20k)and FM-N (12.5K) James,great vid by way. 73 Rob GW1CSU
