4Runner Dashcam Review and Comparison - Wolfbox - FitcamX - VIOFO A129

When driving my 4Runner home from buying 5 hours north of where I live, gravel from a truck cracked my windshield. Was our first stretch 😢 First thing I bought was the A129 duo. Been sitting on it for a year now and beating around the bush with other projects. Think I can install it myself since buying separate hardwire kit and 3D printed mount for back. Thoughts?

If I went with the fitcamx model that has front and rear bundled together, can you run the front initially without the rear if needed? I was curious because I would install the rear camera at a later time, thanks.

That’s actually exactly what I have right now. I still have all 3 front dash cams installed except I’m not running the FitcamX rear.

Hows the playback videos like when uploading it to your laptop for the wolfbox. My parking mode time lapse videos will only play for the first 1-3 minutes only. but it will play everything when watching it on the dashcam mirror. are you running into that issue yourself?

Its been fine actually. I've watched several videos on the computer. Did you have to download a video encoder to view the video? I had to use VLC

@@OtzleeExplains Wolfbox is a nightmare when opening that microusb on your laptop. so many files and dragging it over to VLC. So confusing keeping track of. VLC didnt work. My 2nd option is to watch it through wolfbox player. also that didn't work. Trick/tip is you can save.convert the video in wolfbox player and save it as mp4. Wolfbox is cool and all but when you really want to pinpoint and track down a video at a certain time. its so hard. Please share some tips/tricks or better yet create another sponsored video of wolfbox on how to upload,watch, convert, use wolfbox player.

and bro, there is a button in the bottom middle you can hit so you can use it as a regular mirror. this way you can watch over the little one and baby mama in the back @@OtzleeExplains
