I love how Barb did the smart logical thing, went to school, became a teacher, and gave it a shot. He didn’t like it so he tried streaming. He got good, he got great, and now just plays video games for a career and not only makes bank, but is actually happy. Plus, he plays all sorts of stuff and always seems to have good knowledge of games to the point where he describes little details that normal people probably don’t even pick up. Yet he still does Mario hacks. To Abstracts credit, this is a dope hack. One of my favorites. Props to Barb and Abstract!

@@BrodalNso he used to teach history I believe….Quit that to try streaming…. I’m sure any of his followers will tell you way more detailed info. You can see his knowledge ooze out when he plays those Age of Empire type games where he talks about different army formations and strategies that failed/succeeded in real history involving geography/relationships/production etc etc. He knows a lot about what works and what doesn’t and sometimes throws interesting facts in when he’s streaming.

Regarding Lord of the rings being a hard read, it can depend on if it is translated. My dad owns the first Swedish translated ones and they are a catastrophe! The translator took more than his liberties with the translation and butcherd it. Couldn't finish that one. The newer version and the English original is a breeze.
