Also sir, thank you for your service to our country. I'm sure you hear it all the time, but as a cancer survivor who applied to be a Marine pre-9/11 and was denied due to my medical history, I have alot of respect and admiration for those who were able to serve. Post 9/11 I wanted to serve more than ever, but they still wouldn't take me as I am the only son in my family and even though I was benching 350 and dead lifting just over 500 lbs, I couldn't serve as a Marine. I'm not bitter at all, but I wish I could've served my country. I'm a truck driver now, and I have two teenage sons and a wife.
