Hello lovely Deanna! I thoroughly enjoyed this video. It came just at the right time. You have a unique way of easing my soul hurts, soothing my worry warts, informing my sense of frugality, tickling my funny bone, lifting my spirits, teaching me how to deal kindly with difficult people, inspiring me to manage my time better, showing me how to cuss in polite company, and helping me make good food. I'm thinking of buying a canner like yours. My dear departed Mother, who was somewhat of a wordsmith and punster, used to say this: "Eat what you can and what you can't eat, you can!" I heartily thank you more than words can say. Say "Hi" to Grandma for me. She's an inspiration too. Love, Carol

The broth looks delicious. I'm going to make some more broth myself, I was thinking about using the scraps from my juicer in it,what do you think🤔? Of course I'd make sure to take the scraps out,bfor I use apples or aranges,or anything like that. 🤔

You look so nice! I've spent this week canning a bumper crop of tomatoes.

My tomatoes are way behind and I have never canned them, maybe I will try it this year❤

@@foodbankbeautiful folks say they freeze them. Sound's super easy. I don't have room in my freezer and did up stewed tomatoes and soup base in pressure canner plus catsup in steam canner.

Oh my sister from another mister how I wish I could be a guest at your house even just for one day. I would seriously have to spoil Grandma quite badly I have to admit. But I'm sure you and I could really get into some pretty good trouble lol my dog is doing much better as of the last few days. It would be great fun for you to meet her too only bad thing is I don't know if I could trust you not to try to sneak away with her lol. Because everyone that meets my dog falls in love with her immediately. She such a sweet kind and gentle dog. She has this innate ability to wrap people around her paw

I do love watching your videos.....and sorry about your Fiesta ware bowl.... But when you threw that fiestaware bowl in the trash and then you took about a cantaloupe.... It looked like a piece of bowl you were going to eat...LOL.... I was thinking she loves that fiestaware lol..... Then I realized it was cantaloupe...... But I really do enjoy your videos and you make me feel better...... Because you always say if I can do it you can do it... Thank you.......

Oh no! I hate your bowl got broken. 😢 I always enjoy your videos!!!! Quick question: Do you always sterilize your jars? Not that it hurts anything, but I thought if you can longer than a certain time (I’ll go look it up) it wasn’t necessary.
@foodbankbeautiful7 күн бұрын
i do. I've just always done it that way, let me know what you find out❤

@@foodbankbeautiful What I found…When a process time is 10 minutes or more, the jars will be sterilized DURING processing in the canner. Therefore, when process times are 10 minutes or more, pre-sterilization of jars is not needed. It doesn't hurt your product to do it anyway, but it does require additional time and energy and is unnecessary. NCHFP - The National Center for Home Food preservation.
