Honestly I haven't cried this hard since Gonta's trial. It just further proves Kinjo's hypocrisy of black and white thinking. Satsuki sacrificed herself to save everyone. That is so remarkably powerful.

Spoiler Warning !!! For Culprit Satsuki execution is actually a kid's game called Pop Up Pirate! I played it a lot when younger! You would have a small pirate figure in the middle of a barrel, and with 2-4 players would place a sword in. A different colour for each player! The aim of the game was for the pirate not to pop when you put the sword in, as one of the holes in randomly selected to pop the pirate. If the pirate were to pop, you lose! I used to play it so much with my siblings, so seeing it as Satsuki execution was heart breaking! It's also a reference to how Satsuki lived playing games!

It's pretty in character. Although Rei is standoffish, I think it's a coping mechanism for the situation. She had an air of empathy for Ayame and she was even angry for Kinji's death. She never discarded the possibilities that the murder could be committed for altruistic reasons she just didn't think it would be that tangible in an environment where everyone's is incentivized to be against each other.

Tsurugi Analysis this part as I always do: So essentially why tsurugi passes out here is because the very foundation of his beliefs are being questioned, so because he has already been proven wrong before, he could deny it, but now, he is being forced to realize that everything he believes is wrong. If everything is wrong, he doesnt know what to do with himself. He doesnt understand what he is supposed to be doing, why he is doing, what he is doing, nothing makes sense to him anymore. Everything he has done up to this point is wrong and it no longer makes sense to him, so he passed out because that would mean, everything he has ever done is wrong and all the bad things in his past are terrible to look back at if they all had no logical reason as to why Tsurugi was justified in doing them. If yall have any more questions, lemme know.

This game has done something that none of the danganronpa games have done for me. It made me cry for the outcome of a murder. I’ve felt emotional before but usually for the victim (like Chiaki in both DR2 and the anime or Gonta in V3) but Never have I been sad the crew solved the case. Never before have I wanted them to be wrong. Never before did I want everyone to die so the victim could survive. And most of all I never expected to feel this for 2 characters who I literally didn’t care for much up until a chapter ago 😭😭😭

I can’t believe a fangame made me cry harder than an ACTUAL canon Danganronpa game. I never would have guessed that outcome. I legit thought I was gonna come into this game going “Yeah I’m a Danganronpa expert I know what’s gonna happen” and I did for the first trial but after that? They have thrown me for a loop EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Super well written and feels like a legit Dangan. I can see why so many people love this game now. Super well done and actually made me go “WHAT. THEY’RE THE KILLER” and “I have no idea who the killer is gonna be.” So many times which is exactly what a game like this should do. Amazing work dev team. Amazing work.

SPOILERS (For this game and DR2+3) First this case began with my favorite character of the game dying. IT TOOK ME A WHOLE WEEK TO EMOTIONALLY RECOVER AFTER HIS BDA. Then I watching this trial I find out that HARU WAS THE ONE WHO SET IT UP SO SATSUKI COULD LIVE?!? There's only been one Danganronpa Trial that's made me cry before and that was the case of Kokichi/Kaito. Because Kaito was my favorite character in that game. I guess I have a type.... don't I... heh... Then there's Fuyuhiko in DR2-- Though Soda is up there... WAIT MY TYPE IS THE MALE LOVE INTERESTS I THOUGHT IT WAS THE DUMB LOVEABLE IDIOTS. Regardless, this fan trial was so well made. So glad that Haru and Satsuki are married in Mexico. Kinji officiated the wedding. Ayame, Inori, and Tomori were bridesmaids with Maki being the Maid of Honor. Yamaguchi was the best man.

Despite Haru almost risking everyone’s lives by protecting Satsuki, I can’t be mad at him trying to save his girlfriend. Don’t worry guys, he and Satsuki are happily married in Mexico (a.k.a heaven) with Kinji being their priest and Maki as their best man. Now I would say I’m going to go on copium after a sad trial, but…Satsuki inspired me to have my own hope for us to beat up Monokuma and not let her and Haru’s sacrifice go in vain! Still going to look at a lot of ship art of them though and feel sad(but also good). Also hooray! Mekaru development! Let’s just now hope Kinjo can finally have his after having sense knock into him(literally). Spoilers for the very end of the video: Oh..my..gosh, it-its MITCH’S EVIL TWIN BITCH! Jk it’s just Hanzo Kiragari or wait, Yamato Kiragari? Okay so I’m guessing here that Yamato is Hanzo’s son and that Mikako is his daughter(robot daughter?), meaning Mikako was worried about her brother appearing in the killing game? Idk why she’s very worried, but I guess we’ll have to see next episode. Though I might not make it as it’s going to be on Easter Sunday and I gotta go to my aunt’s place, so maybe or not I’ll be there live, regardless I’m still going to watch the next episode. i know this vod is ancient by youtube standards, but satsuki's execution is reference to a the japanese toy Pop-up Pirate, in which a bunch of colorful plastic swords are inserted into a barrel until someone fills the unlucky slot, causing the pirate to pop up out of the barrel, which is why iranami was... erm, dangling out of the ceiling.
