Once his speed left, he got exposed and was out of the league rather quickly because he wasnt actually a good qb. Just a freak athlete who got by on God-given talent alone. Cam is exactly who young people should not look to for advice if they want to learn to play the position properly.

How did Cam tear it apart? He explained Love's logic. The whole thing is Cam Newton for, "I see what you did there." Clickbait title that doesn't represent what the video was, and Cam never said he could stop the play or that anyone could. He just explained WHY Love wrote it up, which should be expected from a QB.

So basically playing QB is about trusting your instincts and understanding pattern recognition based on what a defense shows you. You have to be sly, athletic, and confident. Don't over complicate it 😅

u also gotta know hundreds of route concepts, defenses that beat them and formations/alignments/checks that beat those defenses, then learn tendencies and disguises, your players styles and ways to get off the snap, same for every opponent, and then still if the receiver aint where they should be and you miss them u suck😂

I love the breakdown and Cam is super entertaining. If it's possible to have a screen or similar where he's showing the defensive lineup when he's talking about reads or where safeties are going etc that would be amazing because I do think it might be easier to follow with visual aids but I love the energy and how smart Cam is along with his friend whose asking the questions that normal non-football players might ask!

his body betrayed him around 2016-2018, his arm and shoulder issues really fucked up his accuracy and overall consistency. one of my favorite players I've watched. that mvp season though was one of the best season performances by a qb I've seen tho. he should go into coaching

Cam is absolutely brilliant. This entire segment was incredible. Loved listening to him to the intricacies on how quickly a qb is demanded to process information. To decipher what defense they in, with 300 pound men trying to hurt you while having to be on the same page as a wr all within 3 second time frame. Amazing stuff
