I was going to mention, I have a small 12v whale submersible pump connected to a hose to easily transfer water from containers to the caravan and from rivers or streams to fill containers. Also for the drawers I found the best friction coefficient is best between aluminium angle and polythene side and bottom runners.

That's a perfect setup, wish I had the skill to build something like that myself Great job 👍

Thanks mate, I have since fitted a sliding water tap beside the table and a caravan water pump it came up pretty good, pity we've been in lockdown for ages, looking forward in using it!

Very clever use of the space: where you put the fixed size elements on the sides and fill the remaining space with the drawers. I don't think I have seen anything smarter and cost efficient .

Thanks massimo, this project came up better than expected, I tried to keep everything simple and functional...I have since fitted a retractable sliding water tap on the R/H side of the table (80x80mm) and a water pump, that also turned out very well:)

Hello mate. Very impressed with your setup - well done. Has given me a few ideas for my 2018 Colorado which I am getting in a month or so. Cheers

Nice setup. Is it dust proof? Im just trying to decide weather to put an aluminum canopy/traidie box and tray or a fuberglass canopy and tub like yours on my Colorado.

Thanks...it's hard to say which is best tub or tray, my setup is much cheaper the fibreglass canopy itself has good dust protection, the problem is the tub has no dust seals, I have made a seal at the tailgate end and contemplating to also seal the front of the tub but still allowing for some drainage just in case I spill water, I'm in refrigeration and cool room door seals would do a good job and reduce dust ingress , of course a good strong fabricated aluminium canopy on a tray may be better specially if you want a heavy duty roof rack but it's big $$$
