Bog Holes FROZEN OVER! Australia’s toughest 4WD track made WAY tougher - do we make it through?

We promised... and here it is! Part 2 of our WILD 4WD adventure in Tasmania holds nothing back. We pushed through huge muddy bog holes, massive ruts and then it SNOWED - that's right, 4WDing Tasmania's toughest tracks (like $1000 track and the Coldstream river track) in the SNOW!
Use code 4WD247 for 15% OFF jerky at originalbeefchief.com/
On a track like this you NEED a quality winch - like ours from www.runvawinch.com.au/
Always know where you are, and where you're going with www.vms4x4.com/
Check out the epic tray & canopy packages at dmwindustries.com.au/
Shauno's 4WD-proof 12v system is from www.redarc.com.au/
Fridges made for 4WDers can handle tracks like this: www.mycoolman.com.au/
Graham wouldn't have made it far without his tyres from www.bridgestone.com.au/
If you're tackling tracks like this, you'll want a tough paintjob from www.raptordiy.com.au
Always have a fire extinguisher within reach, mounted with a custom kap.industries/ bracket

always love watching you guys but i must criticize something, i am an amature at 4wding compared to you guys but my one up on you is i am an expert rigger and you guys do not a double line/snatch block pull as often as you should. the few times i have said to myself watching your videos. "thats gunna let go" iv been right all but twice which honestly i put down to luck. a slower pull is better then a snapped rope not to mention it will help the life/motor of your winch as well. im sure even you blokes can agree that using anything at its capacity will wear it out quicker. single line pulls work best when you just need that little oomph but mud has too much suction and paired worse when pulling up a rut/incline. that aside, love what ya do and i learn plenty from ya

Ive got my grandfather's 50 year old little Homelite chainsaw. I can almost always start that little beast up. I've only needed to rebuild the carb once. That little chainsaw has helped keep us warm below freezing, get through rough trails and smoked hundreds of pounds of salmon as well ! I think the trick is to always empty out the fuel when you're done sawing. Even though I have a newer larger electric saw, this little stinker will always be in my tool box! I love all my Grampa's old tools. There's something special about tools handed down through generations!

Can’t agree on that man I got 2 12 inch 1 14 and 16 inch all cheap Aldi and Bunnings brands and I use my saws a lot and 2 of them were from council pick up and they have never let me down My 2 12’s are perfect last a week camping before the chain gets blunt And my 16 flys through everything I throw at it.. iron bark gum trees you name it and my 12 is the perfect size to save space Lol that homelite 16 is the same as my 14 inch And that needs a carb service… just saying any saw can have a carby issue so why only have 1 I got 4 and my 12 is 16 years old and still going strong and yes it’s had a carby service at 10 year old and in total cost me $89… but can’t include that as it was my birthday present My other 3 haven’t as yet but there both new/back ups…. 2 14 n 16 less then 2 months old n the 12 clone of my original I was given after the Newcastle floods because I helped them as there car was trapped in flood water n my 61 charged through it n dragged every car out of the water

@@blink1821986 C'mon mate, homelite are garbage & everyone knows it. Every single one of thier petrol products has carby issues in the first year. Extra hundred & they could have at least picked up a makita

PRO TIP on how to easily start ANY 2 stroke engine Step one: press primer 4-6 times Step two: full choke Step three: pull until engine coughs (DO NOT PULL AGAIN) Step four: choke off Step five: start engine. If it doesn't start within two pulls, return to Step two.

A two man crosscut saw would store easy being flat and would work more efficiently than an axe on those big trees. Food for thought from Alaska.

When butane is cold, it's only necessary to invert the canister to get its condensed fuel to drain into the line. (It also doesn't hurt to warm it up a little before it's used.) But shaking continuously isn't necessary. Definitely leave the Homelite at home next time! You won't need three or even two saws if you carry just one REAL saw. Glad to see someone was smart enough to have an axe on hand. A few hours chopping wood won't hurt anyone (except maybe Graham lol)
