Man I miss the Vics. Never should have gotten rid of them. They just needed an updated drive train.

I buy CVPI and make them into off road dirt cars- They are basically trucks as they have a body on frame, V-8, Posi and 4 wheel discs... I lift them 3 " and put on Mud Terrrains...They go anywhere!
@CentralTexasRailJetProductions3 жыл бұрын
While I respect your opinion on the cvpi (gorgeous car) with my GM roots I will have to stick to the 9C1 family. 90s Caprice 9C1s with the LT1 V8 are kickass machines. Large highway cruisers

If I am ever pursued by the police, I hope it's a Tahoe. Just hope it's not an RST!

4WD Magazine what kind of RST is it
@BreckoniousMaximus5 жыл бұрын
@@reecethomas8070 The Tahoe RST is what the PPV should be. It has the big 6.2l V8, bigger rotors and pads, better suspension and......oh ya, its actually fast.
@BreckoniousMaximus5 жыл бұрын
@@4WDMagazine You are correct! They are very slow, but what is worse is their braking performance. After about 2-3 heavy breaking applications, the brakes fad and stop working as they should. Plus, the PPV only has a 3.08 axle ratio, so it has no get up from 0 till about 35mph. While testing them on the track, the brakes faded and trans overheated after one lap. Had to switch back to the Crown Victoria, which can go lap after lap after lap.

Tahoe’s are reliable but slow for police chases. Crown vics are the best for police work. But the current gen Tahoe’s 2015-present they are better. 0-60 in about 6/2 seconds

Here, you need to wear a helmet and harness. I'm the instructor so I don't need such safety devices 🙄
@petrol886 жыл бұрын
More like... police don't wear a helmet and harness at work, and pursuits are part of the job. However, limiting liability for a visiting journalist is clearly a requirement.
@georgetincher78593 жыл бұрын
Actually, the passenger is just wearing the standard shoulder and lap belt the vehicle comes equipped with. If you look closer, you'll realize the "harness" is actually a Simpson Hybrid head and neck restraint. It works just like a HANS device, but this model is designed for use in vehicles that don't have full containment seats with the head supports that prevent head motion to either side.
