Cardinals fan here, but Eric Hosmer made me a Royals fan in 2014-2015 due to the Giants and Cubs beating us in the postseason those years. Him, Lorenzo Cain, Salvador Perez, and Alcedes Escobar were exciting to watch along with Jarrod Dyson’s steal to third against Oakland in 2014. Will miss you, Eric.

The playoff run his 2014 Royals went on was insane and he was a big part of that. He gave the Giants a run for their money and it was damn close at the end. They came back and won it all the next year. Cool first name, too. Be well and enjoy it, Eric!
