You can use the flower for most the day go back to your storage and put in in storage sleep 2 days it recharges ! For another day ! I've been using the same flower for over 2 years 😊

Used this quite a bit in my hard mode play through, the flower can be instantaneously wilted by ANYTHING poisonous so watch out. Placing a wilted flower in storage does not ruin your stored flowers (they are treated as different items from that point), but placing a closer to wilting flower with others have all non wilted flowers take on their remaining life. This can easily be reset by resting with the flowers in storage for four days to be safe. Make sure you make a backup copy, the flower can’t be obtained by any other means and often unpredictably wilts when exploring the overworld

I had discovered that the arisen can also stand there doing nothing and still gain some XP. Here is 1 of my examples. During that Griffin Bane quest, I just stand there and let Mercedes's Enlistment Corps troops fight the goblins all by themselves. Guess what. Mercedes really did train her men well. Mercedes' troops really can kill the goblins without the arisen and without the pawns interfering. So even if the goblins gets killed by the Gran Soren soldiers, the arisen still takes the XP. So kind of weird that Mercedes and her troops cannot give damage points at the Mountain Waycastle but Mercedes's troops can kill goblins themselves during the Griffin hunt.

Escort missions can be fun when done correctly....unfortunately Capcom has a history of never executing them well lol. Like I get they aren't supposed to be as powerful as the player but they shouldn't be so brain dead either lol.

@@RaidenKaiser If you play a zombie video games which this game is also part of Capcom, you also do escort missions. That name of the video game will be Dead Rising. If you were to play Dead Rising 2 Off The Records, escort partners can kill bosses even faster then the players. So examples is like if lets say you play Off The Records and you give each of the escort partners Protoman Blaster, they can kill bosses fast and some of the bosses can even die from just 1 hit and it can take like 5-10 seconds for bosses to get killed by escort partners. If you play Dead Rising 1, if you give escort partners shotguns, all of them can kill zombies quite easily. In Dragon's Dogma, during the Griffin Bane's quest, Mercedes' Enlistment Corp troops are actually powerful enough to kill goblins without the help of the arisen and their pawns. You can give that a try. Apparently, goblins do not exactly have to be killed by the arisen nor the pawns. So let suppose if you just let the Gran Soren troops kill the goblins, your arisen still earns XP. As for Rise of the Fallen, if you bring Quina with you, you will discover that Quina can take multiple hits and not lose any health because right after Quina becomes a nun, she masters her mage powers. Quina does not lose health inside the Catacomb. In Dead Rising 1 and Dragon's Dogma 1, it is true that escort partners are not as powerful as the player but in Dead Rising 2 Off The Record, escort partners kills bosses even faster then the players.

It feels like 99% of Rift Crystals I get in this game are from drops. Quests reward like 20 RC (even on hard), whereas one Maneater chest is like 10,000 RC. So, although the flower does double the RC you get as rewards, that's only like

thats the sad leftover from when RC was a microtransaction. if you use all possible ways to aquire it, including the flower, it its acceptable fast. but it was never meant to be done in one evening.

So I tried this method and I got the flower and made several duplicates (to hopefully use in the future) and then went to BBI to farm Daimon and see if the flower really gave you 4x bonus to RC (because there are chests through that run that give 10k) and it does NOT give you ANY bonus in BBI. Ive also tested it by killing the Mage/Dragon with it equipment and picking up their dropped RC and nothing. You only get the normal amount. 😫 Just figured I’d post this since I didn’t see anyone else say anything. 🤷🏻‍♂️

the flower gives you a buff called Weal, this buff doubles xp and discipline gain across the board, as well as rc gain through pawn rentals and quest rewards. this bonus stacks with the inherent buff from hard mode which is basically the same. this way you end up with a 4x bonus. in hindsight i could have explained it better back when i made the video.

In regards of item-bonus, the forgery has the same properties as the original. so it doesn't really matter.

As long as that item is not marked as fake, then both items will be counted as the original. Items that cannot remain the original is if you forge items like wakestone, portcrystals, the letters, solomet's ring or any magical items. All normal items can be counted as original as long as it is not a magical items. I do encourage you to watch Pink Panther just for you to see the forging references. I will tell you what Pink Panther had forged. Pink Panther can forge his sandwich, guitars, housewares and himself. Everything else Pink Panther forges can be counted as original but if he forges his own body, then the rest of his clones will be fake while the original one is still there.

Wait what's the point of multiple forgeries? Copied items don't normally retain magical properties (the Gold idol is a sort of exception to this rule with regards to getting discounts) and if it does wilt can't you use spring water to restore it? What about combining the flower with an airtight flask? Or does the bonus apply even while in storage?

forgeries work as questitems, so you loose the forgery but keep the original. for the flower, it will keep its properties and wont wilt in the storage, so you can take another one once the one in your inventory is no more. combining with anything does nothing

If you watched one of the Pink Panther episodes, Pink Panther can forge many household items too and the rest of them counts as the original. Pink Panther can also forge his own body but if Pink Panther were to forge his own body, it will be counted as a fake. The original Pink Panther is there along with a fake. So in the game of Dragon's Dogma, just as magical items cannot be counted as original after forging, Pink Panther's body cannot be counted as original after forging. So if you forge items such as wakestones, Solomet's Ring or Port Crystals, that is like forging Pink Panther's body.

I copied the flower but it never said Forgery. It simply stocked as 2, gave one away and kept the flower. Guess I should make a second copy, if a copy of a copy works? Either way already had it wilted and had to restore, guessing because I was poisoned but reloaded a checkpoint and now have 100% protection vs poison, not sure if that makes me immune in this game or not but guess I'll find out.

you can make as many copies as you like from the flower. iirc the blight from garms let the flower wilt.

Ok, I get it, you didn’t like that I told the truth about your video. Here’s the facts: by carrying a Blessed Flower on Hard Mode, you earn 4x Gold, XP and RC. The RC earned from quests is negligible so 4X that amount still take players a very long time to get enough to purify BBI lvl 3 armor/weapons/gear. Additionally, the RC that is gotten from monster drops or out of chests DOES NOT EARN YOU 4x more than Normal or Easy mode just by carrying a Blessed Flower. The ONLY WAYS TO INCREASE RC earnings are (1) Putting pawn up for hire; (2) Farming Cursed Dragons and/or Dark Bishop; (3) Creating an alt account and running your main pawn on it; (4) Farming maneater chests, silver knights. Simply carrying a Blessed Flower does not gain you 4X RC from monster drops or chests. Period.

I even put a time stamp with it, demonstrating. That’s what I was referencing, when I made my comment. Included in it was a link to OPSC that showed exactly how many RC a player earns from killing a specific enemy, running solo, just in case players were confused or didn’t understand. Additionally, I gave detailed information on the top 4 ways players could earn RC in greater amounts than simply carrying around a Blessed Flower. My latest comment, that wasn’t deleted, as seen above, included those ways with far less detail. But that’s ok, because you’ve inspired me to create a video on how exactly a player CAN earn lots of RC! 🤩 You may think your video is aimed at noob players or offline players, but the game is 11 years old with numerous, numerous content creators going over how to earn DP, RC, and gold. There’s more resources out there than you think. You know, I’m not trying to be antagonistic, it’s just that your title lures the unwary in, thinking there’s some magical shortcut to earning RC. There isn’t. Then, it’s left to the veterans of the game, to explain to these new players, exactly how to earn the required amounts necessary for purification, repairing BBI Riftstones, upgrading RDF weapons to silver and goldforged, etc. Your comment to me reminded me of a player I recently met who didn’t or couldn’t believe that players could get to Grigori before level 80, when in fact players these days are willing to risk far more at earlier levels than in the past. That’s due to the massive amount of great content out there already, going as far back as 2012. The days of yore when players were forced to play offline or had no idea what items were for are long gone. There’s gamefaqs, Discord, Steam, and Reddit communities devoted to helping the new player. Maybe you’d benefit from joining Dragon’s Dogma Central Discord to see? If you did, you’d see the massive effort players put in to give constructive advice, hire new players’ pawns in order to earn RC for players who need it; re-outfit them; gift Blessed Flowers, Godsbane Blades, Wyrmking Rings, Wakestones, etc; get the pawns area, quest, and bestiary knowledge. There is a wealth of real-time help. Are there platforms that suffer from a lack of player base? Sure (PS3 and Xbox1 I’m talking to you) but the game is thriving on the Switch, PS4, and Steam versions. It’s a community effort, and one I’m proud to be a part of.

I started making Dragon's Dogma Content because of my younger brother, who wanted to start the game, and with that i found a lot of people that likewise just start out. The wiki script that you’re using is kinda embarrassing actually, are you implying your relative can’t read or use Google? Wow. PS3 and XBox360 players got a unique feature, available within the menu, of joining Capcom’s Pawn Hall. Sadly, they didn’t include this with the remaster, and in fact it’ll be archived by the end of Jan 2022. Along with that feature, players could access Capcom’s own BBS (bulletin board system), chat with other players, and meet the games devs. That has long been archived and is no longer available, sadly. It was a great resource that showed us location shoots for places in the game, artwork, solutions to quest problems, and builds recommended by the devs themselves. BTW I can still access, for the moment, my “home” in Cassardis, through the site. Capcom’s system inspired the game faqs communities for all platforms-the latest addition being the Nintendo Switch one, Official Pawn Sharing Club, Steam communities, subReddit group, and very recently, Discord. Additionally I’m not so young myself but I’m aware or part of all of these groups. You made me realize that all the tips and tricks I share freely, at first on my YT channel livestreams, and now on Twitch, should be hoarded to myself like gold…releasing dribs and drabs for the unwary. With click bait titles. I’m perplexed that you offer advice about the game, when, in your own words, you didn’t discover the Abbey until 5 days before you made the video. That blew my mind. I get it that many players don’t do much exploring but, like I said, just because 1player you know didn’t do it or chose not to do it, doesn’t mean the rest are truly ignorant. “Purely mathematical” made me laugh because you imply players gain so much. No, the way players gain heaps of RC, by far the most important currency in the game, IS by getting their pawn rented out. How do they do that? Dragon's Dogma is sequence based. Never timed. If you play Dead Rising 1 and Dead Rising 2, they are timed. Dragon's Dogma do not give you time limits. Once you skip it, you missed that quest.

Hey, so lets say i make a forgery, keep one in the storage and one in my inventory. After using it for about 30 minutes can i deposit the one in my inventory with the other blessed flower to rest and reset the timer? What happens if the one in my inventory dies, can i discard it forever and then get the one from my storage to make a 2nd forgery?

Yeah escort missions in this game are awful kinda have to port crystal cheese or I would go insane especially the ones who want you to drag them all the way to blood Beach and shadow fort on the far ends of south gransys those areas are teeming with nasties like bandits who can one shot the person you are escorting from during the day and if you go at night have fun moving at a snails pace chasing off wolves and Saurians while barely able to see them coming. Seriously if it weren't port crystal cheesing there's a ton of quests I'd never touch lol.
