Its interesting, as a human Elena seemed to bring Damon to the 'good' more moral side and as a vampire Damon brings Elena to much darker and indulgent place. I see a lot of fans are unhappy with this episode, but to be honest, i love this scene. She's gone to quite a dark place and is enjoying it, almost in a Katherine sort of way. In later scenes it shows that to scare here, she's changing and knows it. I think that sort of story could build to something really great in future episodes.

I never thought I'd say this but, I actually want Damon to find somebody else, someone that'll love and cherish and care for him the way he deserves.
