Absolutely obsessed with this! Can't wait to have some money to build my own. 3" lift on 33's looks about the perfect combination to me!

Got a 2001 4x4 2500 LT with Autoride, 6.0L V8, Indigo Blue with barn doors, has 174,500 miles and running strong. Needs either a O-ring on the camshaft position sensor, or a oil pressure sensor, or a new rear main seal to stop an oil leak. When I got it it also had a gas leak. The fuel pump was plastic and cracked, so i got a 2002 pump for an 8.1L and lights right up.

Is that bull bar/winch setup a one-piece upgrade, too completely separate parts that happen to fit together, or something you fabbed up?

Very nice, I did copy the box design (sorry) removed the middle seat so the box is 7 feet long for storage and since dove season opened a place for my weapons and ammo. Love the concept I almost sold my 98 Sub. Glad I didn't.

Nice Suburban! Having the ability to repair it anywhere really makes sense. What kind of mileage do you get?
@suboverland4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! You can expect 10 towing and a little better unloaded.

mileage? who cares? go get a prius.
@danskisbees73484 жыл бұрын
@@ulyssesornelas627 When you're driving thousands of miles, it does matter. When making the decision between that and a diesel, it does matter. If you're a weekend warrior, I guess you can take your Prius.

Can you sleep three people in a suburban? I've been wondering how? Especially if it's a sister that would be coming along for trips. We don't get that cozy lol I was thinking of attaching a trailer and converting that also into a camper as well?

Question - I have 33’s on my 4x4 suburban. Trying to figure out best way to balance tires. It shakes when going 60+. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have 37s on mine and it goes 70 no problem, but we got pretty good tire shops where I'm at

These builds are really nicely done. Why a suburban over a van? We have 2 adults and a 4yr old so we are comparing pros and cons
@suboverland4 жыл бұрын
Vans overall have more room and have a lot of pros. It really comes down to the crazy prices for 4x4 vans. Suburbans are the most affordable big 4x4 out there. They also are extremely reliable and parts are plentiful. That can't be said for most of the 4x4 vans out there.
@amandalutrus20394 жыл бұрын
SUBOVERLAND I thought that too! I had a few people tell me vans were better way to go but not for what we want and you’re def right about the parts!

Advice for the creator of these customizationz: TINT the windows dark, these become ovens in the summer and a good quality solar reflecting film will protect the people and electronics and food

Is the fan meant to pull air up and out or vice versa? Or can it be bi-directional? Wondering how this would be in a warmer (and humid) climate in the summer?
@chriswiggins38964 жыл бұрын
I think the fantastic fan can go both directions.
