Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations

Good vid Denny, you've given it a fair flogging and it shines, I'm 8000kms into a half lap towing 2.5t hybrid camper with my 2.8 78. It's been faultless, on road, off road, sand tracks, sand dunes, does it all so easy, glad I chose it over the V8, yes I had the option.

So good, no major issues thus far?

@@TeamBulletOffroad no mate, faultless, no issues at all, been towing constantly from Vic, thru central SA, across NT to WA, 8-9 hr days sitting on 100 kph, did the Gibb in pretty hot weather, low 40s some days, rest of the Kimberlies, Dampier Peninsula, Pilbara, now half way down WA coast. Just over 16,000 kms since January, still stock except for roof racks, bullbar and winch, even the factory 33" skinnies do well on and off road.

Another awesome review denny! Honest real world testing doing much more than the average person may do in that time period. Great to know it's been faultless so far- as I've got a 2.8 on order now from what I've seen 👍

Of all the problems I’ve had on all the cars I’ve owned, the parabolic leaf squeak was truly one of the most diabolical issues I’ve ever faced. Terrain tamer honoured the warranty on mine failing but by god that sound brings back war scenes in my brain. It sucks especially bad because of how well the springs perform I could still never go back to normal leaf springs

The oil in my vehicle (2019 Prado) behaves the same - discolors quite quickly after a change. I do it anyway, but it certainly makes you think an oil and filter change is needed more frequently than Toyota’s recommended 6mths10k Cheers

Couldn't tell but if not already done you need a bracket to compensate the brake bias valve in the rear for your lift kit. Simple fix often gets over looked and will make the brakes feel like junk without it
@TeamBulletOffroad2 күн бұрын
You mean proportioning valve? We talked about this in an earlier episode. Non existent anymore...
