Now that you aren't towing the caravan, time to go back to the 17" wheels with big sidewall tyres you can really air right down. 😄 How's the antenna, did it survive?

Gday Allan, Antenna lived to see another day. Unfortunately even without the van, the 17” tyres are still not up to the task. Our last set failed without the van even being attached at all after about two weeks👎 Cheers

The 19.5 founders have good side bitting sidewalls, 20 to 25 psi, can handle the weight and rough stuff

Yes I agree. They were not available when we purchased our tyres. They would be our tyre of choice. The down side from what I know is that they do wear very fast. Cheers

@nowhereboundtouring hi Karl the only reason I asked is I had min remampted ant turbo failed at 20,000 kms and Isuzu said its been mapped so NO warranty so I've now got to pay for a new one I'm a bit pissed off but can't fight Isuzu thanks for that cheers guys 👍🍻

@amosbanjocaretakers3598 Yes once a remap, no warranty on any drive train components. Who did the remap? A turbo failure ( oil seals) can be due to no cool-down after working hard. Isuzu manual states you must allow cool down time, so even if you did not have a remap, and the failure could be attributed to not enough cool down time, then also no warranty. Too late now, I know, but for the future. Cheers, karl

I don’t suspect the auto vrs manual title to this clip was really justified. Totally different rigs, other than just being BIG and heavy. No real comparison on the benefits of either transmission type. Fantastic camping area though, camped there on a number of occasions 👍
