Towing with the 1500 Ram one is not totally out of the woods with a reported 1770 kg max rear axle loading. LC 200 has a max loading of 1950 kg. If the reported 1770 kg is correct, the 1500 Ram is a bit light on in the rear axle department.

I would like to get one with the front middle seat. I don’t think we have that option in Newzealand
@jimdavis76210 ай бұрын
You would have to go to the 2500

As long as you don't go too far up in trim levels, the front bench is available in the 1500. Not sure about NZ.

@@rich7447 I have been looking around and it looks like the they have brought the bighorn 1500 into NZ. It has the front bench seat but it doesn’t have a seat belt that meets the standard so they can’t advertise it as an actual seat
@rich74478 ай бұрын
@@bendoubleu7516 Got it. The front center seat is lap belt only. That's where you put your least favorite child. The 2011 Ram 2500 Big Horn that I had didn't have a locking back on that seating position either. I don't know if they changed that.

Australians are obsessed with towing Sht. What about just an all purpose family car thats smooth comfortable and spacious.
@Visbalalam11 ай бұрын
there are much smaller familar "cars" that are smooth and comfortable. Unless you need these for towing, please don't buy them as a family vehicle....cars are getting too big.

@@Visbalalampeople are getting bigger too. My family of 5 were very squished in a new ranger or hilux.

@@mohvanwah I thought Australia had an aging population. Hilux’s ain’t meant for carrying families, that’s why you feel constrained. Try a people mover.

@@Visbalalam but I need a 4wd that can tow my caravan and carry my tall family of 5. The American Utes are the best option.

How about we all drive in the middle.

I got told that this left driving side was the norm kind of everywhere. This comes from the horse era, where sword where yield with Right hand, so the sword was on the left side. This way they avoided swords to collide. Then Mr Napoleon decided to make everything contrary and started to force right side 'circulation'.... And here we are. That's why most commonwealth countries go left still.
