How’s the drawers holding up in the weather? Has the wood warped at all? Does your stuff stay dry in there? Was thinking of getting a canvas cover for the tub rack but not sure if it’s necessary??

Keen for some trip vids. your well spoken so i'm sure it won't be boring. One thing I like about the non commercial 4x4 channels is they seem to film things closer to real time speed and not skip a easy part of the track or intentionally get stuck lol. They also more often actually tell you where they are and what tracks which is a great reference for people new to the game.

Love the Triton, I wish they had them here in the states. Wish I had the money for my dream project. Fuso/canter axles under a first generation challenger or same body style Triton. With 37" to 40" muddies and a supercharged mivec 3.8. Transmission and transfer case would need to be tough, so was thinking a v6 canter 6 speed might work but probably too big and heavy and an atlas 4 speed transfer case. 5.7 axle, 6.7 trans first, and 10.6 transfer case for ratios. It would be a tank!

Hi 4x4 great video, are you putting up a vid on plazman intercooler ? what year is your truck? mine is 2014/15 l200 warrior that what they call them here in the UK, I noticed yours hasn't got sliding rear window & the clocks in the dash are different ! but otherwise the same inside, ATB Wayne UK.
@4x4CampingandAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Hey mate I won’t be doing a video on the intercooler unfortunately there are way to many factors which make it different for each car bull-bar winch etc all get in the way and need to be adapted to fit. I will do a video on how it performs in the future but early signs are amazing. Mines a 2012 model mate the sliding window was in the GLXR mines a GLR which didn’t have it. Thanks for watching!
@jerry2323664 жыл бұрын
@@4x4CampingandAdventures you still going to be doing the plazaman intercooler video? I'm keen to see that.
@4x4CampingandAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Jerome Douven hey mate I didn’t end up filming it as my camera gear was not working in the heat the day we installed it sorry mate.
@jerry2323664 жыл бұрын
@@4x4CampingandAdventures no worries. Do you have any feedback on the intercooler? My intake air temps never seem to cool fast enough after taking my foot off the accelerator. I watched your video on degreasing the intercooler and that worked but it was only marginally better. I noticed you run an EDS scanner too. My eds scanner will read IAT of 55+ at 110kph which bumps my fuel economy to over 11 L/100KM. In the mornings when the air is cooler it'll hover around 45 IAT and my fuel economy will average out to around 9L/100KM. I know there are other factors involved but it seems like the lower the intake air temp the better the fuel economy.
@4x4CampingandAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Jerome Douven that’s right mate the cars getting cooler air which is more dense so it will improve fuel economy. See I was getting around 70 on the highway as the winch was covering 3 quarters of the cooler, now it never gets above 35 so with a stock car it will improve things but only marginally though. I would suggest if you have a tune definitely get a bigger cooler not so much with stock.
