The best part about all of this is you show up when people are so vulnerable and you help them for free out of the goodness of your heart. The world needs more people like you.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate you actually showing rigging. Other channels show nothing, or do things very poorly and dangerously. Way to preach safety and proper technique. Cheers.
@byronwhitney6652 жыл бұрын
Great job. I knew the truck was big and heavy, but I didn’t fully realize how big and heavy until you got it out and fully recovered. The rigging configuration you use has proven itself to be very effective. And I’m glad the truck had those nice factory installed tow points. They made the job easier with less concern about damage to the vehicle or recovery equipment. 👍👍👍

ingenuity and brains vs brute force, esp when you are attempting to overcome "Stiction" most people assume that if its mud, they just throw a rope and full throttle yank on the end as hard as they can muster with as much speed as they can, but thats how you break parts and just get more equipment stuck, and judging by the holes dug by the previous attempts to pull that poor ol' boy out, thats EXACTLY what they attempted to do, i'm amazed the stock tow points on that F250 held up, those things normally snap off under a hard pull but with a winch its a gentle enough steady force i guess there is no Shock Load to cause the breakage, still shocked they didn't snap off when them trying to "Yank" the truck out of the mud and sand, great video, i'll definately add this to my list of channels i watch for offroad recovery, stay safe out there brother
