About the „view“ I just stayed for a night in a Spanish hotel from the 70s facing the Atlantic. Problem was the living rooms were facing the courtyard and the toilets had an unobstructed view of the ocean 😂😂😂 In Italy park benches often don’t face (stunning)scenery but the road.

When we spent the night at Mirabib, I thought that it was Fennec fox watching us from the distance and hidden in the dark when only the lights of the eyes reflected in the torch light, but now after I saw you met Hyena I´m not sure 😀 BTW we were on the other side of the rock without any problems. Thank you for your work.

Is the hotel on the beach (18:00) positioned that way due to the high winds? Perhaps having the hallway on the “sea” side is intended to provide a bit of sound protection from the wind?
@4xoverland
@4xoverland 9 күн бұрын
No it wasn't. All the other hotels had sea views for less money and we stayed at one and made this one look laughable.

How do you deal with jet lag once you first arrive in Africa?
@4xoverland

Its only 6 hours difference, so its pretty easy going in. For some reason, returning home is far worse.
@BubblesTheCat1
@BubblesTheCat1 7 күн бұрын
@4xoverland Well, I think there's a difference between flying east and west. In one direction, you gain time, and in the other, you lose time. Dunno if that has an impact on jet lag🤷‍♂️

From your commentary the time and length of you trip may be longer than your optimum time. From my own experience of over 50 years of travelling in what I would describe as sometimes less than ideal conditions 3 to 4 weeks is ample before looking for some of the comforts of home. It provides time to restore your ability to do your travel and to evaluate your goals that you need from the travel that you are undertaking. Bruce

Cold Atlantic... In 2017 Roads Canada opened their newly completed Inuvik-Tuktoyaktuk Highway- Northwest Territories Highway 10. It is the very first road in all of Canada which leads all the way to the Arctic Ocean. It is an all weather/all year open highway of gravel connecting the remote coastal village of Tuktoyaktuk to the rest of Canada. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJPNkJ-Hlqmpr6M !

[10:17] What's wrong with walking far to a place out-of-the-way and doing business like a cat? Humans have been doing this since existence. Nice pictures at the end!
@4xoverland
@4xoverland 8 күн бұрын
Because humans are not cats. When too many people do it, and being lazy won't walk far, and will leave toilet paper blowing in the wind. Its a really bad idea.
